[Q] Differences HTC One Versions? - One (M7) Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hello everyone,
in a few days my new HTC One will arrive.
The last time I visited the forum, I was seeking for informations on my HTC Desire S regarding the topic of the RUU Update.
Before that I have had a G1 (alias HTC Dream).
I learned from that two devices that there are sometimes different versions of the same phone on the market.
What about the HTC One?
I have seen that there are several forums for the HTC One. There is a general forum, a forum for Sprint, T-Mobile, etc.
What is this all about?
Where shall I look for informations on my HTC One? (I get my HTC One from T-Mobile Germany)
Regards
Morbus

[Q] Where can I buy an incredible S710A?

Hi,
I am looking for an HTC incredible S710A and for some reason the only ones I found are the S710E. I found only one website that well it and they are out of stock.
Could somebody please tell me where I can buy one, locked or unlocked.
Thnaks!
Negrielectronics has S710A in stock, but it's extremely overpriced, at least for me.

So has anyone gotten one yet? I was thinking of getting one to use on AT&T.

[Q] Rom flashing with an Australian Device UL

Hello everyone,
I was just wondering if this is the right forum for the Australian HTC One users.
I saw the chart by mike1986, and from what it looks like it seems that the australian handsets (telstra, optus, vodafone) are apart of the UL group.
So does that mean we should look to At&t, T-Mobile, etc HTC One forums for Roms, kernels and etc?
Just a little confused
I'm assuming this forum HTC One is for the U category?
Thanks alot,
i have a tmobile htc one and ive flashed just about every rom/kernel in this thread. i think they are all the same besides the cdma versions(sprint) and dev version(not to sure about that one). but if your phone is gsm you should be good
If you do it. Would love to know how it went I have a Telstra locked variant and want to do this myself. No problems unlocking the bootloader on telstra though can confirm

[Q] HTC ONE, which version is the international version ??

Hi there
I want to buy the HTC ONE "again", but the problem is that I'm not sure which one.
After some research, I've found that there are several different versions of the HTC ONE:
HTC 801n ONE, ONE HTC 801e, 801a ONE HTC, HTC ONE 801W ...
Well why "again"?
Thing is that I had one until recently, the 801n, i got through a contract renewal in Switzerland, and I was very very happy with it!
But the trouble started when I went on a trip again. I travel a lot between Germany, Switzerland, Mexico, and the US, and due prolonged
stays in these countries, I have a simcard in each country, as well as prepaid and contract, each with internet access (3G and 4G).
Now in Mexico I noticed that my brand new HTC ONE 801n, was not compatible with the frequencies used here (3G, 850Mhz with Telcel Mexico), which made it useless as a smartphone. Therefore I sold it. But I loved this phone, so I am going to buy me a new HTC One!
Question is, which HTC ONE is the right for me?? Also I read everywhere on the internet about an "international" HTC one, an "international version"??
Is this one of the above versions I mentioned? "International," does it mean that it will work with all the frequencies in all the countries I travel to? With at least 3G Internet can use, perhaps even with 4G? And where do they sell it? And how can I identify it?
Thanks for your help

International means quad band GSM. It won't work on CDMA and you won't have all the data bands either. HTCs website has a list if the specs, and there is a discussion thread here with something like U/UL in the general section by mike1986

ok, means will work everywhere as a phone, but 3g or 4g , for example the 801n only in europe ????
Why have you got another thread for the same thing?
