Are there any ROMS based off of the "Official" 2.1 Sprint release?
Or are they all based off of the leaked release?

http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=683746 says official ruu in header.
However, if you look at the post date, it says the thread was started on the 18th. The Official 2.1 was not released until the 19th.
A lot of people had assumed that the last leak was the final release because of the version number. However, there is about 17 megs difference between the official release and the leaked release.

i believe they took the bloatware out and the leak was the official according to Toast, he's a pretty bright guy. There were 2 leaks the newest on the 17th or 18th is the one i am referring to.
Edit* another thought is he could have easily updated his rom with the official ruu and not have changed the date.
the checksums are the same, "leak" and "official" are the same

have you check it, i mean check the date, it always show as 10c(already more than a month i think)
maybe it's for version 10 co continues for the former, it is certain that at least have added p990H not if I could extract information to be able to get decent kernels for this new version at least as the CM
I fear, continue to be old, ie not valid for the latest version, not whether the model can be extracted p990H something positive
I downloaded it earlier this week and the file dates are from february in the zip file. Newer is the source for the US released P990H, but nobody knows the exact differences.

From the official FAQ: Acquiring Nokia X kernel source
Q: How do I request the kernel source for the Nokia X Firmware?
A: Microsoft Mobile offers to provide you with the source code for these files. Please send a written request, along with the relevant details (software name and version), to:
Source Code Requests
Microsoft Mobile Oy
Keilalahdentie 2-4
02150 Espoo
Finland
This offer is valid for a period of three (3) years from the date of the distribution of this product by Microsoft Mobile Oy.
I have requested the X2 source and will upload to Github when get the DVD. Alas, as I work in the Nokia X2 kernel team (at least for a short while), I could pull this directly from internal repository, but as I'm afraid of our Legal Dept, decided to submit a formal request just like everyone else.
It is too bad that world never sees the plethora of upcoming Nokia X models that were cancelled July 17th and were planned as successors to Nokia X2. There was some really cool technology there, also in the Linux kernel code. :crying:
