2 typos in your post!
I had the same "probldm" when I first got my One and I also thought it was calibration issue.
It was. I wasn't calibrated to typing on the One.
Couple of weeks later I'm much better at typing on the One

I guess it is in regard to me and this thread... I fiind difficult to type on my htc so asked a question, what is so stupid about it? I have seen people typing on iphone very fast, i just csnt do it on One so was wondering is it just me or poor keyboard accuracy
Sent from my HTC One using xda app-developers app
It's a new phone. You need to get used to typing on it instead of your old one. Happens on ANY device.
Slow down your typing, get more accurate with it, and then you'll learn the new positions for everything.
Instead of mocking the guy (who, let's admit, is totally asking for it), somebody just help him out instead:
OP did you try Settings... Language & Keyboard.. HTC Sense Input.. Advanced.. Calibration Tool

As well as calibration tool, it may help if you look at the keyboard tutorial, which is an easy guide if you're new to this.
Access settings,
then select language & keyboard
Then select HTC Sense input

Its not the phone and its not your fault, you just gotta get used to it. Be slow when typing. Its annoying and time consuming but you'll get way faster and more accurate.

What do you mean number button on the left side? Swiftkey X has the number toggle on the left side of the keyboard and it gives you a small 10 key on the left side of the screen when you use it. Plus it is a really good keyboard. I use it on every device I own.

Make the Font variable some how. I can NOT read all of the text in the HTC all in one tool because the text is not able to wrap correctly or not display correctly. A lot of it scrolls in to the "void" either to the right or below. I don't know why but it does.

Nothing simpler will come out the wire trick is the only way, besides lot of people think its quantum physics on our vivid cause they have to physicly remove a little door to access the download mode pin, but on all the other qsd86xx devices the pins are visible by just removing the battery door, just be careful doing it, and it will work.

I've taken the time to make this thread to hear about any complaints people may have about the Nexus 7. Keep in mind, this thread is NOT for PHYSICAL defects or imperfections. I'm talking about complaints about the performance, any lag at all, crashes or freezes, horrible battery life, performance with major 3D games, or any bugs you may find, post them here ! :good: Complain all you want about it, let's discuss it. Is the Nexus 7 what you were expecting ? Is it BETTER than you expected ? Is it good for the price ? Are other tablets better in any way ? Say it !
Is this really necessary?
I thought it would be interesting to know. Thank you for replying !

v3.2 is in progress. Will find more things first, but so far 1 important thing is done. Inkeffect showing 'None' in settings, now shows choosen color. Updates will be in CWM for simplicity, and way smaller than a complete rom.
haven't got any feedback, so hard to say what to do, I think it runs like a train with no hassle, execpt for the one mention above, but that is sorted. Plain theming isn't something to update for. However NightTheme is uploaded (post #1)
Update for 'none' in inkeffects > settings added to post #3.

Wonderful! I can't really find anything bad, however I haven't tried everything If you apply the update you get correct ink choosen in settings (no diffrence otherwise), so it's not superimportant for trying purpose. But if you use it as daily rom for some time it can be nice to get that sorted.
I tip my hat for your efforts on this rom.
Wasn't bad at all.
The main problem are the ones you already noted.
The ink effect update kinda mess up the lockscreen of my wallpaper and it didn't solve the problem. If you can fix it in the version 3.2, this will be my daily rom.

Thank you for pointing that out! I found the problem and sorted that (wrong ID link in smalis) (SecSettings.apk).
An other problem came across, darkred renders incorrect (yellow!)
That problem is in android.policy.jar in the darkred case. Problem is solved and yet another update is added/replaced (same link in other words). So there
is a new android.policy.jar in the update aswell.
Please check the changes and repport, if you have time and so

I'll never understand why you always feel the need to attack others. He asked a very straight forward and simple question, and he even said no offence to the devs.

The main reason software ships with bugs is that the testing size usually a tens to hundreds of people (usually internal to the manufacturer and/or the carrier). When software is released to everyone (thousands to millions) there are bound to be situations that the testers didn't have that cause problems (mainly caused by the nonsupported development community such as XDA and others). The general rule is to make something work and seems to be functioning in all the major categories and then filter new bug reports and patch them as they show up.

I'll never understand why you always feel the need to attack others. He asked a very straight forward and simple question, and he even said no offence to the devs.
Not everyone understands that software just about always ships with bugs.
With all that said you offer a lot to the community and that I respect.
