Hi
I have a question why is there only 2.6.29 kernel when on other phones there compiled newer kernels like 2.6.32 or .35 what is the problem on SE that nobody cant do new kernel there is only 2.6.29. or other question did someone COULD do it?
all kernels is based on SE 2.9.29 kernel.
I think that, 2.6.32 or .35 must be porting for X8, in SE 2.9.29 only need add new function, no need port...

If what you are asking is if there are any flashable kernels for AOSP ROMs then no. All the ROMs have a kernel included with them though.

Hey guys plz complie a custom kernel for our mi5 and make it more battery efficient and super performance device plz complile best kernel like

Dimfish Kernel
As all of us knw that kernel sources have been released so plz humble request thnx
Hi,
As much as I'd like to see a custom kernel, I am under the impression that I will have to wait for a long time for it to happen.
It seems the sources Xiaomi released can't be used out of the box and need a lot of work already.
So that would take some devs to pay attention to the Xiaomi mi5.
And with Nougat released, a bunch of them are already working on that... not on a MM device
So no... probably won't happen soon
