Hi
i thought we ought need to have some relaxation, fun talk thread around our 4x.
Instead of posting all over the forum how we are missing some functions, how we hate this phone, why not sit down together peacefully and talk about it without the fear of going OT?
So I'm creating this thread for O4X owners to share and talk about your life with O4X,, and what you love about it. Of course, show off what mods or any apps you have on your 4x, why you have it on!
From mods to lockscreen/homescreen wallpapers, lets start the talking! Remember this is also an introduction about you, say something about yourself too!!!
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I'll start the dice rolling:
What i use the phone for:
4x to me is a companion that i can always go to to get information at my finger tips particular news & social networking. I also uses it as my camera (most of the time even when i have a DSLR).
With my Sony earphones LOVE IT AS MY MP3 PLAYER!!!!:silly: Also while driving my 4x is my satnav, google navigation and waze in particular.
When im travelling my 4x is literately the only electronic device i brings, besides its 5000mah portable charger and sony earphones. My 4X really is the only thing i ever need when abroad.:good:
What i do love about it?
The display is number 1:good::good::good::good:
Nice enough battery life.
ample internal memory:good:
Looks miles better than samsung's pebbles.
Mods/Can't-live-without Apps i have:
CM10.1 - PowerAMP - InDrive - Titanium backup - NFC Task Launcher
I initially thought of staying stock to save me from all the headache moments there will be from modifying my phone. But when i saw that CyanogenMod is officially supporting 4x all that changed. CM10.1 has always been around my ears as THE ROM to use. Now after using it, i really understood why it is it so.
NFC Task launcher: If you hasn't have this app installed, download it now! Together with the NFC tags LG gave it really changed my driving experience. Now instead of fiddling individual settings when i gets into my car all i need to do is to tap the tag and everything is done.
Missing Functions
I don't know any
Your turn to speak now
So for what it is... writing sms, facebook and whatsapp, googeling and something of everything! less gaming many flashing The nice HD Screen is what I love most! The smoothness together with cm10.1 is awesome :victory:
what I dislike the dust grains under the awesome display and something is wrong with my phonespeaker (for hearing other by phoning)...
AND THERE ARE TOO LESS ROMS KERNELS AND MODS OUT THERE WHAT MAKES ME SOOO SAD :crying::crying:
Apps I use mainly are ES File explorer, dolphin browser, feeldy, go sms pro, whatsapp plus and Facebook!
Bought it for gaming. Was initially very disappointed. Downgraded to v10a which performs well, but drains so fast! Then after much waiting and pointless retries I got my BL unlocked and now its performing quite good thanks to custom kernels and Tegra overclock. Other than that I use it for emails, editing word docs, general browsing and photos. On kholks kernel for stock at present, but I keep restoring cm10.1 to test kernels for @laufersteppenwolf I like my optimus, and even more so because hardly anyone seems to own one
Sent from my rooted P880
I came from the SE Xperia X8, in the need of a better (performance driven) phone, which was also cheap. So i've found the 4x HD. Checked on xda about root and bough it
Now it's my daily driver wherever i am, school, home, vacation, everywhere
what i like: everything
what i dislike: LG's bad support, for example the fastboot problems...
hmm, showing off... i guess that'd be my Kernel and my ROM
from the first day i've had this phone, i knew i wanted to make my own ROM. The kernel was more a side product than planned
Apps i daily use: Whatsapp, BBS, Tegra Overclock, Hill Climb Race, Subway Surfers, and ADB of course
came from galaxy s2 hd lte, 4x hd is my first quadcore phone. at first it disappoints me, the camera is too weak on lowlight capturing front and back. love taking sceneries. gaming is not superb cause of minimal clocking of the GPU. curse on gameloft not optimizing their games for tegra user >.<, but the display its just great.
i recently flashed from stock to werewolf rom/kernel
while waiting for 3.4 kernel of kholk
and the results are so great. smoothness the ui of the new 4.2.2
well for now i can enjoy the my 4x thanks to Tegra Overclock app and the devs of Werewolf.
hope more custom roms and kernels come to our phone. calling out devs

Hi all,
For those already using the LG 2x as their daily phone, may i just ask how's the performance in terms of daily usage? Some reviews says it's speedy, so does benchmarks but i have also read reviews that said it should be much better considering that it's dual core and at times, there's some slight stuttering due to the custom froyo skin that LG has.
I'm presently using a Nexus S and it's smooth as butter running custom roms and oc kernel. I'll probably be able to sell off the phone at no loss and top up something like USD120 to get the LG 2x when it arrives in Singapore in the next 2-3 weeks.
Anyone here that have tried both phones and able to provide me with some insights on if i should bother switching? How's the real life use (browsing net, playing music, batt life while playing games etc) difference felt between the processing powers of the two phones?
As it is, the Nexus S can do everything i want except for those Tegra 2 only games. I don't really need a 1080 HD video capability, HDMI mirroring and the 16 Gig space, although limiting is not a deal breaker for me.
Has there been any indications that it'll be able to run custom roms and kernel soon? i know paul from modaco is looking into it at the moment.
Thanks all!
Hi there, I'm also considering between Nexus S and Optimus 2x.
Would appreciate any feedbacks from the users here.
About custom roms - Paul said yesterday that today would be available beta of clockworkmod for download, everything seems that O2X will be great phone for custom roms and stuff Probably there will be functioning Clockwork Mod and developers cooking even before you even get your O2x )
It is lightning fast, and much faster than the Nexus S on stock 2.3. I know because I tried them side by side.
The reviews are correct though, there is some stuttering. I'd say it's annoying as hell, but I'm an impatient guy when it comes to tech-gadgets. I'm sure it's only software issues that will be addressed, either by LG or by custom ROM's.
Sometimes it takes about 5-10 seconds to open the apps list when adding them to the home screen, and sometimes it's as quick as expected.
Sometimes it will stutter while scrolling but most of the time it's smooth as butter. You can clearly tell that there's nothing wrong with the performance because of the smoothness, but there are undoubtedly some serious flaws in the implementation causing intermittent stutter that needs to be addressed.
Playing games is as smooth as I've ever seen. It's simply amazing; There's no stutter or lag AT ALL, so the stuttering you see in the menus seem to be fairly isolated. So far I have tested Angry Birds and AB Rio in addition to Fruit Ninja + Samurai II from Tegra Zone. Samurai II on the TV looks better than a Wii game and is closer to PS3 to be honest.
Another evidence of the incredible performance is the Gallery app. My jaw dropped to the floor when I saw how quick and smooth it is. My Nexus One is like an old Sony Ericsson with Symbian in comparison. If you haven't tried an SE phone with Symbian, consider yourself lucky.
One thing also worth considering is the fact that Froyo is not really optimised for DualCore phones. When gingerbread hits the LG 2x then the speed difference between it and other single core phones should become even more apparent.
the only problem i have with o2x is LG's poor implementation of the LG skin on it. LG's UI w/c i believe can easily be fixed by tweaks/updates or custom roms. that's why im quite happy that g2x will come with vanilla android froyo.
hope LG recognizes the 'MINOR' flaws and stuttering when on the menu/app drawer. but besides that, all other things like browsing, gaming, camera, texting, calling etc are Great and is superior than any other phones in the market as of the moment.

Gingerbread isn't currently optimized to take advantage of the dual core devices either... Hence the information about a version 2.4 of Gingerbread dropping in April. http://goo.gl/b7P0g
I had mine for 8 days now and Im still not used to how fast it is!
My last phone was a HTC Hero, wich I really cant compare it to, but I have played around a lot with iPhone 4, Samsung Galaxy S and Desire HD and my phone eat em for breakfast. Mutitasking games like Angry Birds and Reckless Drivning is really fast and smooth.
Even though 02X dont have 2D accelerated graphics and iPhone 4 does, the smoothness in the menus are pretty much the same.
Amazing fast phone used my old desire (moved to my wife) and it scared the heck out of me found it very slow go figure lol
My son and I uses both the 2x and coming from desires...
Love the screen over the amoled great quality only notice with black when playing not a full screen movie... But the again almost not seen this...
Browsing the net is great and fast deciding which browser to use dolphin mini or opera the latest with flash.
Actually we found the camera great and the sound is great too...
Running myself launcherpro and the diskspace room 1.45gb to store apps beside the sd.
That's what i hated with my desire lol 148 mb
Battery life is building up nice now after 12 days 38 hours normal usage and heavy 8 hours...
lol and we have gorilla glass too
Bottom line an amazing fast phone just love it.

The stutter/lag I saw some of seems to be as good as gone after upgrading with all the latest stuff from MoDaCo.
Ok guys just a quick one... Checked out the phone for quite a bit at the retail shop...
First Impressions...
It's both fast & slow at times. However believe that this should be able to be addressed via software eg custom roms etc... Games tried all seem smooth. Opening of apps at times there was lag but it was somewhat random and can't quite pinpoint. Other times it was fast.
Installed Golauncher, ADW and LauncherPro and all seemed to work alright. Do note was just a quick one at the shop...
For those into it...
Quadrand Std - 2600 - 2700 +
Linpack Score - 36 MegaFlops...
Neocore - er sorry don't recall & first time running it... 75???
Nothing else really significant to say except that in a nutshell this phone has potential...
Hi guys, I recently got a brand new galaxy s (GT-I9000). My experience with this nice one is amazing, except when it comes down to gaming. For example when playing Blood & Glory it just lags like hell, but I have seen videos of other galaxy s on youtube playing the very same game smooth. So I was wondering what can I do about it. I thought that I could install voofoo lagfix, but it was my understanding that it isn't available for gingerbread 2.3.6 (I have a rooted I9000XWJVZ, and I didn't touch anything else). I also thought that you may know a rom that is especially suited for gaming.
I'm at your mercy, please help a poor fellow. Bye and Happy Christmas.
If you were looking for gaming device, I personally would recommend you XBOX or Playstation...
Thanks, but this doesn't help me (and I already have a 360). What I'm saying is that my galaxy s doesn't seem to be able to play game very well, some others do. So I just wanna know what can I do about it.
First of all, read the threads here, and look in General section as well.
You can start from widgets freezing/delete.
Don't use much widgets.

Problem is that gingerbread has terrible memory management, it always tries to keep apps on memory, so when you're playing a game, your RAM changes depending on textures, etc. So the system sees more free RAM and starts an app which causes lags... yeah it's pretty stupid but you could try this:
Flash a custom kernel of your liking (I use semaphore and it's working well), and thunderbolt (it's a collection of scripts that enhance performance). Also you may want to flash a thunderbolt LMK add on (low memory killer), if you want best performance go for the 80MB LMK one, but you won't be able to multitask much. Actually you can change the LMK on the fly (with semaphore app) and that could be easier (flash at least the kernel and thunderbolt, the other thunderbolt add ons are optional)
Try to get some info on LMK, this thread is a good start:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=18549017
Also I found Cyanogenmod to be ok at gaming but it's a battery hog, if you can tweak a samsung rom like I mentioned you could get good performance and battery life, even if it's a bit complicated at first.
If nothing of this satisfies you, you could go back to froyo, it's much better for gaming, really.
I think the best phone is Samsung Galaxy S2
Thank you parhelion69, I'll try and let you know. Man, tuning a device is much more complicated than expected...
Updated to ICS using LG Update tool...now ready to bin my phone. Gee I was really stupid and just assumed that an official rom from LG would (a) work better than previous GB and (b) add new features rather than take away features. So far:
a) HDMI out not working
b) exchange active sync not working
c) no way to turn off camera shutter
d) LG UI laggy and slow
e) no real improvements in photo, video or music quality.
without the ability to sync to my work emails this phone is next to useless for me...
How has everyone's experience been? any of the above??
Being a newbie at flashing roms and the likeI assume I can get back to stock GB somehow ?
Yes it's awful extremely slow and buggy. Now since they have released it it might even be low priority to solve bugs....
You can revert to GB.
Use smart flash and a smart flash copy of the GB firmware.
Here you can find the stock firmwares V10 (froyo) V20(GB)
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1035041
And here is how to flash it
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1008070
just put the file with AP in the name where it says AP and CP where it says CP.
Might need to try to flash a few times if it fails. Or do it with the battery inside after the software update mode have been activated.
Good Luck
No problems here
Yes it's pretty bad. I found GB to be bad too though.
It took the Devs here to do LG's job for them and make GB good and they will do the same for ICS too I am sure
Yes, you can go back to stock GB but you will need to do a bit of research, like how to use Nvflash and/or smartflash. There are guides around if you do some searching.
Disaster is a compliment. It's slow, laggy, buggy... It's amazing they took so long to ruin an OS.

I had the same opinions with stock ROMs on several other lower-midrange non-Nexus devices. HTC Sense was a performance killer on my old Desire Z and Touchwiz also made my friend's GS2 lag at times. On the newer superphones like the GS3 and HTC One X these skins don't cause any lag, but they don't deserve to exist on weaker models.
LG should have known better than to overlay that s**t on ICS with only 512 MB RAM... how hard is it to give us vanilla android? They did it for the T-Mobile G2X in the states (froyo).

I'm in your Opinion. I went to V30a because with CM10 i got often BSODs and on CM10 is a very high battery drain... But CM10 was much faster and smoother Hope the Problems in CM10 get fixed.

Devs have already made what is to be made from ICS. There isn't much more into it than what has already been done. Only thing that is being awaited now is official source codes so the developing of CM10 & CM10.1 truly can show its colors
I disagree.
It's not any worse than any of the GB ROMs. I don't really imagine, what you're doing with the device on a daily basis, except of testing absolutely all of the functions (e.g. HDMI out - I bet more than 50% of people never use it), and launching all apps or scrolling rapidly to just check "smoothness".
I'm pretty use we'll get the small things you mentioned fixed with custom ROMs based on this ICS release.

there you go... the fact that people have to resort to custom ROMs to get acceptable performance says a lot, right?
While I'd never use a stock ROM, I'd expect it to be smooth and responsive at the very least without bogging down from the smallest tasks like having 3 browser tabs open with music playing and whatsapp in the background.

As for me, the best stock ROM I ever had on this phone:
a) Don't have a solution here unfortunately...
b) Try Nitrodesk Touchdown app, works like a charm with a lot of additional useful functions than the built-in email app? PM if you need the app
c) Seems like silent mode can be a solution (though not practical to change mode everytime you want to use the camera)?
d) No such thing on my phone, fastest LG stock ROM ever on my phone.
e) I was already ok with the quality: it's a phone, not a camera. Photos it makes are not really good I agree (I regret my Xperia X10i for that!!), but I don't expect miracles from it. Maybe another app can do better, but I don't know any...
Finally, battery drain is very correct, much more than with GB for me (see pictures attached).
So I can't agree with you, this ICS stock ROM is much better than any other LG stock ROM. I come from DJ1.7.1 which is an excellent ROM, and still, I will keep using ICS, waiting for the developers' magic!
HDMI out is working btw...What are u talking about;
720p only but other than that works properly.
Have not tried HDMI yet.
It is waay faster then GB in all apps. Had reverted to V20Q before V30A (to check official update and there was not any in my locale). And honestly, GB was mighty slow compared to ICS. (And I found V20Q faster than 90% of ROMs here, Django - recommended to me as faster - looks hideous. Even if it was faster, I would not be able to use for it looked like something from 1999. And those animations, no matter if were faster to render, were waay too slow)
Stock GB also has terrible problem with screen tearing.
CM7 was fine, but was pretty much the same in terms of speed. (And I really do not overclock/ramhack my phone, for it decreases stability dramatically - after 50mins of calling at 13xxMHz, you fire up browser and it crashes for overheat...)
ICS (stock) on the other hand is faster than GB at stock speed.
And CM10 is faster than ICS (stock).
So there is that.
I mean, in stock ICS I still wait instant/1,5 secs for phone app to start. But it is better than GB - 3 secs. And it is worse than CM10 instant/0.6secs.
All that said, LG is terrible software maintainer, but P990 has only 512MB of RAM (with 128 MB alocated to GeForce ULV). Therefore I am not that suprised.
And do not use any memkillers or other stuff. Basically to do all this app provides, just set the limit for background apps. That said... if you are using e.g. Talk, SMS, Phone, Browser constantly plus some other apps (like InternetBanking app or GDrive, Maps) it might be better for your experience and battery to just let it as it is on default. It works better when they are in RAM.
Lovin' It - Stop complaining
I completly disagree - it may be a bit late but there is no reason to be pessimistic about it.
a) It does work - I just tested it on my TV. There is no options for it in the settings anymore though, but it runs at 1280x720 anyway. (I know 1080 was the highest)
b) I don't use it, so can't comment there.
c) Yes there is - I use Llama and my silent profile shut the shutter up. So its either notification or media volume.
d) No, its not. Maybe for the first minute of boot before you kill some programs, but other than that fastest UI so far, even though I still installed GO Launcher.
e) Haven't tested, but is 1080p recording in 30fps now? If not, this is from ICS changelog for O2X and other phones (LGSingapore):
adding bitrate video recording (720p only 7Mbps who first kept so 9Mbps, which first 1080p 16mbps 10mbps now), fixesbug camera (focus, time capture, white balance)

So it must be a bit better now.
If you really want to complain, here is the un-edited version of the predicted changelog from the Singapore comment, have fun:
Display interface optimus ui 3.0 brings several new features, including a new lock screen(with shortcuts and new
gesture, plus a look underneath, and face unlock), quick memo (write on your screen wherever you want ), new gallery ics, new notification, task manager ics , 4
new themes(with wallpaper, icons, a different menu structure), 12 new fonts, icon changer (picture may be the app icon), new music player, equalizer manual
control, voice capture (photo just say "cheese"), 14 new homescreen transition effect, new widgets ics style, adding bitrate video recording (720p only 7Mbps who
first kept so 9Mbps, which first 1080p 16mbps 10mbps now), fixesbug camera (focus, time capture, white balance), fixes a bug in the current battery standby, new
app called "home media" (a type of application for enjoying photos / videos / music, but only for optimus vu / lte / nitro hd), upgraded browser (no night mode
feature for battery saving), improved performance, better ram a management, look more simple (there are 2 color options menu, white and black ,or grey and brown),

optimus nitro / lte / vu (ie fast / slow motion, live zooming, thumbnails seek, additional audio), n many new. Tired of typing…, just a lot of the new ones, if I
tell about them all, it won’t be surprise anymore.

err..excuse me but I have been using the 'new features' of the ics rom for 24hrs now and I can verify that (1) HDMI is not working (whereas GB rom was working) and (2) ms active sync is not working and I have not been able to retrieve emails since installing ICS (and I was definitely getting them before ) .
I appreciate this may not be the same for everyone -
The point of this post was to share my experiences with the new rom and hopefully get some advice or solutions from others who may have been through the same problems ...isn't that what these forums are for ..
PS: flashed back to GB rom and all working ok again...obviously something about my phone and v30 that didnt get along !

Well ever tried the 4x hd? This thing Flys and lg did a really good job on it. Also the optimus g or nexus 4. They are all great devices.
Sent from my LG-P880 using xda app-developers app
Currently I have a Samsung S2 and I am looking at changing to 4x HD. I just want to find out some feedback about the battery life (for using the internet / screen) I know the phone has excellent talk time. How is the interface? What do you dislike about the phone?
Also, what is the camera like? Can it take the multi shots like the S3? Thx.
Battery- 3-4 hours net or heavy gameplay, 2 days standby.
Interface- Not good as HTC Sense or Touchwiz , but simple and easy the android way.
Camera- Camara not so good specially when zooming (it's ugly), multishot takeble but it is set to six at once, non-changable. HDR and Time catch shot, Voice shutter features included which are good. If you want multishot, you have to find other third party app.
Like- Cheap, good looking, quad core Tegra 3, Quick Memo, Time catch shot, Voice shutter etc.
Dislike- Locked Bootloader, Too much lags in games like shadowgun, nfs most wanted etc. and also in the interface like changing wallpaper in stock launcher and even lockscreen, Heats up within minutes on gameplay and interest usage, Screen and glass have too much distance within them, You will notice horizontal lines of the screen, No Jelly Bean and not sure about update date (lg gave about update, but as known lg isn't at update at all, take optimus 2x for example), No USB OTG, slow GPS lock, Camara not so good specially when zooming (it's ugly), Some good games an apps aren't available for this phone officially in play store even though they will run well enough and some apps on playstore dosen't work with our phone, Only 4 custom roms and none of them is perfect or even complete, Root don't work well as root apps crashes now an then and root stops working sometimes when phone is restarted, unupgradeable busybox (if you use stericsion installer, you will be stuck on bootloop on next restart) etc.
Your profit for switching to Optimus 4X HD- Many S2 accessories are compatible with 4X specially with USB ones.
My suggestion- HTC One X Plus (If you care about graphics more than battery life) or Samsung Galaxy S3 (if you want for regular usage with some cool features) or Nexus 4 (if you want graphics with classis, smooth android) or any other latest phones like Note 2, Optimus G. It's your choice.

You said too much lags. In what way? Also, apparently the unlocked bootloader is coming with JB update.

let me complete editing my post. You will have full answers with explaination.
Hi there,
This thread is an experiment, so far no "best ROM" threads were allowed on XDA. They've all led to flaming and mindless fanboyism. So to keep this clean, here's what a good post would look like:
[Name of the rom you're talking about, preferably link to the thread]
[How long have you been using it, with what kernel, how you use your phone]
[Pros of the ROM, features you use ( etc. Active Display, Locksreen Notifications)]
-
-
-
[Cons of the Rom]
-
-
-
[Few words from you, overall experience]
[Eventually, comparison with other ROM you used]
BTW: No need to use brackets, they're there to show you the layout. KEEP POSTS CLOSE TO THE LAYOUT !
MOST IMPORTANT THING : Things like " this rom sucks !!! it lags like hell !! battery drain !! Oh god it's so bad" are NOT a good criticism ! GOOD criticism would be "CPU keeps being stuck at low frequency sometimes, there's no trace of it in logs, I've checked my wakelocks but battery is still poor" . If you say " This rom is unstable" say what bugs you encoutered ! If you say "it has many great features ", say what features you use !
The point of this thread is to let other users know what to expect of each ROM, let them see differences between them. Not to make them confused because everyone says "XYZ is the best !! flash itt !!! "
Seriously guys... Don't write anything like this... just don't.
Be good users and thread is here to stay, be reckless and it will be prohibited once more ! Also, our device ROMs only !
So lemme start
Official Cyanogenmod 11 nightlies
I've been using it for around month now, with stock kernel, updating daily with every nightlie.
Pros:
-The most stable ROM for me. It has much less freezes and lags then other. Basically my phone dislikes p880-dev based ROMs, I believe it is faulty, other user report no such problems as mine.
-No CPU cores freezing at minimum frequiency ( again , problem that seems to affect me and only me :/ )
-Fast unlock times
-Demetris is doing hell of job, nearly every nightly updates kernel for our device with serious tweaks and fixes !
-For me, not even a single bug found !
Cons:
-Not the most feature rich, but has the basics
-No crazy optimization (Linaro, -O3, custom toolchains etc) but this is a minor thing, not really noticable
So I've been using this because my phone is somehow very unstable ( something is wrong with it ) and this ROM gives me stability to use it as a daily driver.
Alright, my turn
I'm running SlimKat
I've been running it for..... dunno... as soon as we had CM11 up and running properly
Am running my own kernel (none of the official (released) ones, though )
Pros
Beautiful UI (Dark Slim, reduced density,...)
Nice features (like SlimPie or heads-up)
Not resource hungry (Low RAM usage from framework)
Good performance
Grouper blobs
Cons
Some bugs here and there (But AFAIK they're all my own fault )
Now, a general info about this thread:
We are from now on allowing ROM comparison threads (at least for now, we are going to revisit this decision sometime later). But, comments like "xyzROM sux, abcROM iz da best!!!" are of no use, and can/will be considered spamming. I guess we're all mature enough to have a normal conversation without insulting other devs.
So please, let's keep it fact based
Greetings from Spain.
The best stock, Zaiden. Fast, stable, everything works fine, perfectly.
I've spent a week with nameless, well overall, although sometimes it freezes and gave lag, but fine. I think with the CM kernel v.10 Iodak do better, I think.
Today I put the CM11 nightly, 29/09, and was pleasantly surprised, very well. Super fast at all.
I am very new to the rom and although I have to use Google Translate, I learn a lot in this forum.
greetings
For me Beanstalk and Liquid Smooth's KitKat versions have performed the better, for Beanstalk i used the Werewolf Kernel since it's the one i normally use when i flash custom roms and has always given me the least issues with a good performance, but has its crashes as usual and camera wasn't recording at all. Recently i flashed Liquid Smooth and am working with its stock kernel, it performs very good, i don't play big graphics games i think (Clash of Clans and Tiny Death Star aren't exactly the most demanding games for android) but it hasn't crashed, no crazy reboots, apps don't error and fail close and also has a regular battery life which is hard to come by when flashing custom ROMs normally.
Just started using the Lego Rom. It's really nice. Also, "Your phone is now bricked" made me laugh
I really like the kernel tweak tool. I've been playing around with the settings to see how much on screen time I can squeeze out of my battery still on stock kernel. I'm thinking of trying out Wolf's kernel eventually.

I want to try lego but it hasnt been updated for 3 months.

Try it, it's pretty sweet. I think wolf said he would be back to continue it's development, and that he's just busy. The only thing that I found doesn't work, is taking a snapshot, and when you turn the phone on it's side, sometimes the messeges screen gets messed up, but other than that, everything works for me
Without tweaking the kernel, I got 3 hours of on screen time. I had wi-fi on the whole time, browsed reddit, and was messeging a lot.

It is better zaiben or magic rom for life battery?
I'm on Mahdi (1 Dec 2014) stock kernel
Pros:
- LED Notifications (best feature for any ROM)
- Pretty close to stock with features like OmniSwitch witch I dont use
- Battery friendly (~3h on-screen, wifi on most of the time, 2g mode, gps on most of the time) and most of the time fluid
Cons:
- Sometimes it hangs when loading/using apps (if they are updating it gets even worse)
- Sometimes it needs a day to unlock (screen doesnt wake up)
