Is factory resetting really necessary? xD why not bring it to the nearest samsung store? with your warranty if you still didnt have your binary counter have value xD

My accelerometer has stopped working. Has anyone else had this issue? Is there anything I can do or do I need to send it back under warranty?

Perhaps try the calibration tool in Froyo (in settings)?
What I would try too when these things happen is completely reboot the device (and also remove the battery for a while).
Just tried this no luck. Looks like warranty it is.

Mine too. I noticed that it helps to restore the settings. Could this be caused by installing a program, for example, Press Reader?
This happened to me a while back, I just re-flashed and it worked again.
You didn't hit the button in the notification drawer did you?
These things rarely flat out break (unless you have an iPhone). Reflashing should do it.

There are answers in forum. Do you even read? Or just post new threads with questions???
I see you are new here. See this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JmvCpR45LKA
P.S. When you allready opened it, let me answer. But you do not deserve it, you are lazy.
Turn OFF Powersaving mode. Swipe down notification and turn it off. It put your CPU to 800MHz instead of 1GHz. If that do not help, look here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2092627
Because of usless posts like yours, the one with answers are gone on 4th-5th page. And you can't find it!
its has nothing to do with power saving mode...even clearing ram does not help.the lag is noticable only few times but wen it happens one has to turn the device off and reboot.

Is there a way to calibrate the gyroscope in the Note 3? i can't find it
I don't think there is an option which stinks! It seems like the keyboard is not as accurate as the note 2's was. It might just be SwiftKey though not up to date with 4.3.

Download GPS Status and Toolbox. Under menu, tools, there are various calibration tools. I was able to calibrate my compass using this app.

Mine does.
Is there anything Samsung didn't screw up with this device? Good grief...
Check the s4 form for at&t
I got one for my s4. Look for GPS Status. It does a good job on the S4. Haven't tested it on the Note 3
So is it normal or our devices defective?

I FOUND A way to calibrate note 3 . I have tmobile sending me a warranty exchange tomorow lol and I just figured how to calibrate perfect. I was using an app to test gforce on my car when talking hard turns. And it has a calibration feature that works perfect. App name on google play is g- force has a icon of arrows showing diffrent axis in diffrent colors. Just put on a table . Not the same table where there is small vibration from a/c or PC , xbox etc... and calibrate. Now the orientation for apps and screen rotation is perfect . Fixed my friend notw which gps was showing him traveling sideways. Hope this works for every1 else.
My phone's diaplay has turned pink. But when I press the home button to open task manager then the area behind recent apps dialog box becomes as it should be.
So please anyone could tell me if it could be repaired or the screen is to be changed!
Thanks in advance
Hmmm. This is interesting.
Did this just suddenly happen or did something happen to it, eg. Did you flash a rom/kernel or did to get submerged in water etc
If it did get submerged in water, its likely a hardware fault
Try flash in Sempahore GB, that has Voodoo colour, and see if that changes anything - if not, its likely a hardware fault

Follow what @Soryuu said to do. In my opinion, if this is a hardware issue (display to be changed), then you better buy a used phone as it costs equal to the display. Or you may use it as your secondary phone and buy a new quad core phone
Sent from my GT-I9000 using XDA Premium 4 mobile app
Maybe a hardware issue like that:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2529205
but if there's something wrong with the display then why the area behind the recent dialog box ok

That's probably why - when you reassembled the phone you must have also done something to the screen digitiser without realising.

Check that the display flex cable is properly seated. Or see if you can tune it out with colour calibration.

yeah the display cable is properly seated but then also the display is as it is
What about using colour calibration? Have you tried that?

Try to clean the screen connectors or try with another display.
Good luck
Any news about the problem with the display???

sorry, but how to do that?
i just installed the app and then just adjusted the brightness accordingly
What ROM are you using? Most ROMs for i9000 have colour adjustment built into settings.

Same setting point in CM 10.x
In CM 11 it is called "color calibration" under "Other device options"
thanks
Thanks for the help but i have tried this several times.
but it is same. !!!
Not really satisfying but the main thing is your display works ... :good:
