Use my Ones speakers as PC speakers - One (M7) Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hey !
Im impressed with the sound my One can produce.. And because of this i would like to use the speakers in the phone as speakers from my computer .. So all sounds that my computer plays comes through the speakers of the One.. Is this possible ?

It probably is possible but don't know how.

Wouldn't see how it's possible considering that sound only goes out through either the 3.5mm jack or over Bluetooth.

Nope, but some pc can produce music from phone to pc speakers.
But for now vice versa is not posible.

[Q] Galaxy S i9000 ext. speaker (music) - left channel only?

Hi guys, I'm running Darky 9.3 (don't know if that's relevant or not)
I've searched the forums (and the web) but couldn't find any mention of this. When I listen to music on my Galaxy S using headphones it sounds amazing, full stereo, really clear. When I use the external speaker its lovely and loud... but recently when listening to The Beatles I realised that it was only playing the left channel through the speaker (I assumed it would have been both left and right combined).
Now anybody who knows the early Beatles music and the massive stereo separation will realize this means I couldn't hear the drums/guitar/vocals depending on the track.
I tried the same song with headphones... perfect.
I tested this using both the stock Samsung music player and mSpot... the same with both.
Anybody else know about this?
Have to be honest this is just one of reasons i stoped useing custom roms as at some point i find issues i now use stock js8 its fast and reliable but i do wish you luck in finding answer

Or not properly inserted. No issues here.
The last two answers are just for fun or you guys don't understand english? He is talking about the sound through thephone's speaker!

Yeah i was just about to say... cable?
I only mentioned the Rom as I don't know if that's the cause or not. But yeah.. through headphones? music is fine... through external speaker? ...only left audio channel.
With most modern music you can get away with it to be honest as usually the vocals bass and drums are mixed to the centre... but with older stuff? you miss half the music!
rather annoying...
It is one channel. Voodoo sound fix can force mono which fixes it mate. Comes with 9.3

It is pretty much industry standard (and I don't just mean the mobile phone industry) that when representing Monoural audio, you use only the left channel! as mentioned, software mixers exist, but I would not be surprised if the stock rom did the same.

But I'm on Darky 9.3 and I have the problem... or are you saying the *problem* comes with 9.3?

hmm.... I'd have tested the stock rom if I'd realised about this in time. There's no way I can be bothered re flashing my phone... testing it... flashing it back and then going through all the hassle of setting up again. urgh. lol
I wonder if there's anybody who has a strong-stereo separation music track they can test who's on stock? is it two-channel mono? or just the left channel?
Thanks for the answers so far guys
Go into voodoo settings and choose force mono. I get 2ch audio

EDIT: Never mind I found it. Works great, thanks!
Just have to remember to turn it back to stereo when i put headphones in. But at least I can listen to The Beatles when I'm in the kitchen now on the built in speaker. Cheers!

i9000 headset on Nexus S

Hi guys. Have any of you used the i9000 headset on your Nexus S to listen music? It sounds horrible. But the problem seems to be more on the software side. On Voodoo control, if I use the mono option for the headset it gets better, but at normal volume it gets distorted. It's hard to understand if you cant listen, but has anyone tried it?
Thanks

Speaker problem

Hello!
Whenever I play music on this phone the front speakers are not working but the back speakers are. What could be the problem? I am guessing dust got into it, but I am not sure. Please help!!

I guess, the front speaker is none other than the earpiece itself. & the back one is the loudspeaker. Whenever u play music or enjoy any media stuff the sound comes through the back loudspeaker.
As far as the front earpiece(above the LCD area) is concerned, it's only used for calls not for listening music...
To clean the dust, better get it cleaned by the SSC,(for me they have done it for free...)

[Q] Galaxy Ace sound problem.

Hi everyone,
I'm having a little problem with my Galaxy Ace lately. When I play music on it, it plays just fine through the speaker, no problem whatsoever. However, if I connect my headphones, the music is really weird/just not right. There is no bass and there's an echo.
Another thing: If I connect my computer's speakers (3.5mm audio jack as well), it plays the music just fine like through its own speaker.
Wat could be the problem here?
Aditional info:
Galaxy Ace rooted, no OC (stock 800mhz), CM10.1 20130513 from Maclaw.
I have no other problems whatsoever with the rom.
My friend has a nokia E series phone. When i tried plugging his headphones. I got the same problem. The sound gets muffled and only music can be heard. Try using a different earphone and see if that works.

Thanks for the tip, another pair of earphones seemed to work. Is there a reason why my Ace won't accept both Nokia earphones I tried?

iPhone headphones problem?

Has anyone tried using iPhone Headphone with they're Z1? I really like the design and comfort of these Headphones however when using with my Z1 I experience random pausing a skipping of songs. It may be the remote of the headphones messing with the phone but I'm really not sure. I'd use the ones you get with the phone but they're really uncomfortable

If the issue do not appear with the stock headphones that mean the iPhone headphones are not compatible with Z1.

The iphone's headphones (the new ones for iphone 5 and newer) are partially compatible with my xperia Z1. I tested my wife's and what works:
-Play/Pause/Next song/Previous song/Long press for vocal command.
What doesn't work:
-Volume control.
There are no other problems such as what you stated. Probably faulty headphones or fake?
Try to connect them while pressing the volume down button, start a song then release the Vol down and see if any changes. Or maybe try them with an iphone to see if it gives the same problems (random stops,...).

Whatever Man, if he do not test the headphones on different device he can't know where is the problem. If the issue still there even whit different device the headphones are faulty. BTW, still are not compatible anyway, some functions don't working, so they are not fully compatible.
Use the Sony smart connect app. You can make it so the buttons on the headset do what you like.
The headphones are genuine (came with iPhone 5) and 100% work with other devices. Randomly when the headphones are plugged in to my phone the phone will just go crazy and start changing the volume and skipping songs etc.

Then they are not compatible with the Z1, if the stock headphones do not have same issues then something is wrong, right?
Annoying, the stock headphones work fine, they are just to uncomfortable
