[Q] KFHD 7" stuck in boot loop HELP! - 7" Kindle Fire HD Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hey guys,
So, I'm a noob here and I think I messed up badly. I had my kindle rooted and was attempting to install CyanogenMod using an app called fire flash as I was instructed. Now my kindle is stuck in a boot loop. The Kindle Fire logo is not animated and disappears and comes back... over and over again. I was originally trying to get CyanogenMod through a guide on Gizmodo but was experiencing some problems and decided to try the fire flash route. Does anyone have any info on how to fix the boot loop problem I'm facing?
Thank you!

Depends on what you did. Check my thread, and see what you did wrong. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2271909
If you can access TWRP, and made a Nandroid backup, then reboot into TWRP and restore. Otherwise, if you can enter fastboot, then refer to number 4 in that thread.

Hey I ran into a similar situation, my logo is exactly as you described. Tomorrow I'm going to order a Fastboot cable, and hopefully be able to use that to flash a working bootloader. If anyone has any more updates on this situation, it would be greatly appreciated

[Q] Help Please Red Triangle

ok so I am extremely new to this, I rooted my kindle and that worked fine. I then used fire flash to get twrp in is and it booted into the TWRP recovery mode with no problem. I didnt have any ROMS on it yet just wanted to make sure it would boot into TWRP. So I tried to reboot the kindle and it was stuck in bootloop. I plugged in my factory fastboot cable and put it in fast beet. It is detected in my device manager as an adb device. I used KF first aid to try to restore it and now I am getting a red triangle saying kindle fire system restore. neither of the 2 options work though. When it boots it is the normal kindle orange and then goes to the blue logo then it gives me the triangle. Is there anything I can do to fix it.
Um I would put it in fast boot and restore the system image, I haven't used kffirstaide before, but if that's the screen im thinking of its asking you to either do a reset or boot normally, and neither are working so something it probably wrong with the system partition. So look try look for something about doing a system image restore if u can in kffirstaid. That's best I can guess at for now.

[Q] TWRP Bootloop On Kindle Fire HD 7?

Hello all,
Just yesterday I fitted my Kindle Fire HD 7" with TWRP. I rebooted the decive and it started straight into recovery. Reboot again. Straight into recovery.
Here is everything I've attempted to fix it:
-Vol. Up Button during start up- Nothing happens
-Recovery/Restore- Restore Fails At System
-ADB Debugging- idme not found error
-Pokey 9000's Alt. commands- Cannot push to device
Is this a bootloop? Does this happen to others? Is there a fix? Thanks in advance!
~Roxas
Its happened because the tutorials aren't exactly up to par on telling people a little something, the newer amazon os checks to see if your boot loader version matches, if not it boot loops. Follow this tutorial and it should help you get a os loaded back onto it that will boot.

[Q] How to get custom rom onto device?

I'm finding it somewhat impossible to install a custom ROM on this currently useless device.
It is a Kindle Fire HD 7" (not the new HDX)

- Already tried it and the tablet goes into a bootloop once I restart, have to use factory cable to restore, apparently it doesn't work if your 7.30 or above

I tried this to downgrade it to 7.2.1 but once completed the tablet said it cant boot and has to do a restore, then it goes back to 7.30. There is a 7.2.3 option too but I never tried it.
I don't know what to do all I want is to get rid of this stupid crap rom but if I can't I'll just have to use a launcher... any ideas?
When you boot looped did the kindle fire logo turn blue?
The first link should work fine for installing twrp the issue with 7.3 is the boot loader and the entire reason you install the freedom boot part.
It should install twrp and at the same time most likely boot loop your device.
Just try using the key combo if twrp doesn't automatically load.
After installing twrp you need to already have a rom on your sd card and to immediately install it.
I would recommend to try the first link again.

Yessir I already tried it 2 times. First is when I first got my Kindle and had to wait a month for a fast boot cable. I tried again but still boot loops again on the Kindle Fire logo, really frusterating.

What version is your stock software? If you have the new refresh of the KFireHD (2013) then the 2nd bootloader exploit wont work for you.

[Q] Brick???

Hi guys,
So I am quite a noob at doing such things, you should know this before reading this post. I went ahead and was booting cm11 for the first time after using seokhun's method, but found that my tablet was looping. I (foolishly) decided to reflash the .bin file from his post and start from scratch, but I ended up messing up the Kindle further. It flashes the orange logo three times, and then stays on the logo on the fourth time. Recovery doesn't work, and it won't boot into fastboot. Help!

Kindle Fire HD TWRP logo bootloop

Hey guys. Awhile back I installed cyanogenmod onto my parents kindle fire hd in order to give them a speedier experience since the stock rom was starting to get slow. It worked great! until my mom decided she did not like this OS anymore and tried formatting the device from within the OS. Now whenever I try to boot it up, it shows the red fire logo and then the blue fire logo but then goes into the TWRP loading screen. Here, it just keeps flashing the TWRP logo and won't let me do anything. The adb status is offline. I tried using the unbrick utility to no avail. Any suggestions?

You're going to need a fastboot cable. You can find them on eBay. Once you have that, you can push a new recovery image and rom to the kindle and flash it. Then tell your mom to read up on this site before tweaking!
