Yes, simply add this line in build.prop
qemu.hw.mainkeys=1
Click to collapse
and reboot

Install lmt launcher and set it on boot or button saviour before adding that line

Use GMD app which gives you much control over this without the need of a specific launcher or edit build.prop. It also is the best gesture app around.

Notification bar at the bottom

Hey,
Is there a way to move the notification bar from the top to the bottom. Like the paranoid android rom? I'm currently on TMT MIUI beta7.

I think these are the features included in the AOSP,AOKP,Paranoid Android. Just change DPI to below 213 and u'll get tablet mode...
In Paranoid android rom you can use your phone in both mode phone mode or tablet mod
And in tablet mod the notification bar is at the bottom

Not like PA/Tablet mode. In phone mode, so a swipe from the bottom to the top opens the notification window.
Cheers

Thanks I'll try that.
I wished it was possible on other AOSP ROMs, particularly AOKP.

I cant! The app isn't mine, and the main objecive of the app is change the color of the status bar, not optimized to a full transparent, you should try a lower level of transparency....

Does this work on Tab 2 10.1?
I must say, Xposed is amazing... been using it on the Note 2 for months now and I don't think I could live with out it! I use it mostly to set custom DPI for apps.

oops my bad i though it was 4.2.2 MicroDelta
Good, I didn't like 4.2.2 because the full-screen notification area is horrible and the peformance is awful, but I liked the transparent bar

[Q] Transparent Nav Bar

I have tried to search and can't find anything that works. GEL, Rooted, Xposed, Gravity Box...can't get status and navigation bar transparent. Any suggestions?
Well I don't think you'd want a transparent status bar, it would overlap your app. While I too think a transparent navigation bar would be nice I think kit kats immersion mode kind of fulfills this.

Sorry for the dumb question but how do you access that option?
Sent from my Nexus 7 using XDA Free mobile app
You don't activate it, if an app supports it whenever necessary the status and Nav bar disappear.
Keep in mind this is for 4.4+

Transparent nav bar

Does anyone know how to setup the nav bar to be transparent on 4.4.2? Im using gravitybox and I cant find a setting for it. Ive done searches but the only answers I can find are for the JB version of gravitybox. Its already transparent on my homescreen with my wallpaper by default, but when I use Chrome or any other app it's just black. Thanks for any help.

Xposed module tinted status bar also has a setting to make the nav bar match. Maybe kind of what you are looking for

I'll give that a try and report back. Thanks for the tip.
Sent from my XT1060 using XDA Free mobile app
Well I tried it out, I couldn't seem to get it to do what I wanted, because even though the nav bar was transparent, the screen seemed to be still scaled for the nav bar. The only way I can get the screen to scale to take the space of the nav bar is expanded desktop mode and use the pie controls, which I don't really like. It just seems like there would be a way. I don't really need a black background to my nav bar, I know where the buttons are in my head, just the outline of the buttons would be enough for me. If I was able to see what was underneath the buttons that would make my screen seem bigger and better for reading and browsing and such.
Sent from my XT1060 using XDA Free mobile app
Found the perfect solution, there's a module for xposed called app settings. It allows you to force immersive mode for any app you select, along with lots of other useful settings. Immersive mode works even better than a transparent nav bar because you can select items that would be under the nav bar.

Possible to remove status bar tinting?

Not looking to remove the status bar, just wondering if it is possible to remove the tinting of the app header and make it either the same colour or transparent.

Ok, but only in home screen, you cannot hide status in samsung browser for example (or in any other apps).
Search for full screen apps in settings, try to show examples of what you're looking for.
