English hardware keyboard layout into German layout

My Kaiser have German hardware keyboard layout.
I use TPC's Elite Ultimate ROM (WM6.5.3.) - it is English ROM
So when I use my hardware keyboard some keys are switched
For example Y an Z keys
Is there any way to switch my keyborad layout into German
I tried it through 'Advanced Config' tool that is included in ROM
but it didn't work.
I also tried with AEKMap tool but I'm not sure how to use it.
Please help!

Hi...I´ve changed the Original Galaxy S ROM to Darkys_Raw_Steel_Edition.
Now my Softkeyboard is QUERTY
I Changed the Setting to German (QUERTZ)
but it doesn´t work...its still QUERTY
Is it possible to change the Layout of the Softkeys back to QUERTZ without replacing the ROM again?

Hi every one i have tryed many many roms and non of them have swedish XT9 dictionary to the samsung 3x4 keyboard and i want at least a 2.2 version of android thats fast and stable and i can't even find a original version that works with samsung keys

Includes:
EU GalaxyS Keyboards/HTC_IME (not needed)
EU GalaxyS Keyboards/Samsung/sys-app/ (copy files to /system/app/ )
EU GalaxyS Keyboards/Samsung/sys-lib/ (copy files to /system/lib/ )
EU GalaxyS Keyboards/Swype/sys-app/ (copy files to /system/app/ )
EU GalaxyS Keyboards/Swype/sys-lib/ (copy files to /system/lib/ )
Now you should have working keyboard.
Make sure you have enough free space in /system !
EDIT: I don't know about 3x4 keyboard

okey many of the ROMs i found do have the 4x3 keyboard but not the swedish dictionary that is a must to have when you use T9 and i also want to have Suomi dictionary

[Q] Importing LG Keyboard app(HIME) from Froyo

Hello,
The LG keyboard on froyo contained Hebrew on my rom, unlike the current roms.
How can I import this keyboard to my current rom(Zeus)?
I tried importing by TitaniumBackup but the Hebrew disappeared.
I attach LG keyboard's files(apk+odex), maybe deodexing is needed.

the language´s are stored in the framework-res.apk so thats why it didn't work though titanium backup

Hello,
I would like to use original Croatian keyboard layout in non-Croatian CSC ROMs?
latest rom with Croatian keyboard & Swype is I9001BOKP9_I9001DTMKP4_DTM although it is not Croatia CSC (in fact it has ONLY German DTM code)..
so what to rip out and then inject in any other ROm (or in Android booted up)?

I think copying AxT9IME.apk from the Croatian rom to your current rom would be plenty. if not please correct me.

Sorry doesn't work..
I also backed up with Titanium - Samsung keyboard, Swype and anything called input from german I9001BOKP9 ROM, tried on value pack ROM, Lion ROM, Moon ROM - installed Titanium (phone rooted of course) and restored those files, but keyboard doesn't have Croatian layout as option..
also manually copied A9IPK files (apk & odex) but no can do...
