Hello!
Can someone extract the stock email app from Samsung Galaxy series & post the apk here.
Reason for the same being that my official domain ain't push enabled & there are no chances to hook it up with google apps or anything else, & the LG stock email app doesn't supports push for non-push domains (though I am currently using Emoze Push Mail app & its a good app), I heard that the stock email app on Samsung does the needful for my problem.
Cheers!

I'm using the Galaxy Tab Email port from SGS Tools and just noticed when I receive a meeting request, I have no means of accepting it. Is this not built into that Email app? If not, can anyone recommend another, similar email app?
Are you using exchange? I tried using that app and kept getting connection errors when it tried to download a email with out a subject.
Hi guys,
Moving from WM to android is creating me more problems than expected
Apologies if I make a few noob questions.
I got a Galaxy tab, and everything works fine expect the email apk which is not able to show the folders of my corporate email account. I've seen that this problem affect other people/devices, but couldn't find a working solution.
Funny enough, I got my old Blackstone running XDAndroid working fine with the same exchange account and showing all my email folders and sub folders.
I've seen the $20 touchdown, but I'd prefer a native solution, so my questions are:
- Understand that after rooting I'll be able to replace the Samsung mail apk. What would be the procedure?
- I would like try the email apk from the XDAndroid. do you see any limitation for this apk to work on the tab.
- is it possible to get the HTC mail apk (sense) working in the Tab? does someone have a working apk?
- Any other solution to show the exchange email folders into our Tab?
Thanks in advance
Funny, i had same idea with HTC Mail.apk but found nothing on web.
So anybody want to port HTC Mail to Galaxy Tab?
~ from Tab using XDA App. ~
HTC's email.apk needs sense, and would be nearly impossible to port it without using a sense rom as a base.
Exchange(2007 SP2) and subfolders works great though on my tab.
Also i've noticed that there are some differences between my stock rom and overcome, so you could try that.

hi YoMark,
Can you pls let me know which Email version are you running? (just go to aplication/manage applications/all/Email.
Mine is version 2.2 and it is not showing the exchange folders/subfolders (exchange 2007)
I also have the email 2.2 apk and while mails and folders load fine, it takes ages (1 min at least) on startup and any switch and email apk is prone to force close (especially when switching between mails or switching to another app)
I reported this months ago, but no solution has been found yet... Only thing I hate about the tab, as I have 0 productivity with Emails

I am in the same boat, it's not showing any folders (Exch 2003). Anyone found a fix for this?
Just flashed my LG Optimus 2x with CM10-20121105-P990 ROM, but the email that's included does not have one little nice feature as my previous stock LG email. I have like 6 different email accounts and prefer to keep them separate, so I need to reply to certain emails from a different account (other than the one it's received in, or the default email account). -- I had emails forwarded to a central account so I can check only one place, but would need to reply using a different email account. This used to be possible with the LG email app that came with my phone, but now the app is no longer here and the one included in this ROM does not have this function.
Is it possible to extract that LG stock email app (I believe my stock ROM was V25H -- with Canada Fido) and post it somewhere so I can download and install again?
I would also like to have the LG stock camera app back if possible... but that's a lower priority.
Many thanks!

Never mind, installed K9 mail and that worked nice for me!
Now anyone has recommendations to a good camera app? No need for fancy effects, but should have decent camera settings, easy save/email/SMS/chat transfer, bug-free video recording...
Hello members!
Please suggest a good Push Email App for OB, my official domain isn't Push enabled, & only "Emoze Push Mail" gives the Push function for my official emails, but it has a problem in syncing, it unreads all the mail everytime it syncs.
Samsung has the native email app that works good for my domain.
Can someone help.
PS - We are not using Google Apps.

Hi all,
my company is asking me to install a specific eMail App to access their Exchange Server. In particular they are asking for TouchDown (great program, but with no Calendar integration).
Default eMail program (GMail in Lollipop) wil not work.
Is there a way to create a module that say to Excahnge that I'm using TouchDown, but using GMail instead?
Thanks in advance
