Kernel hello World - Galaxy Note GT-N7000 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Buenos what you said to me last
I installed the kernel and I've been tinkering with the Xperia Rom and performed factory setting and the note was left on the black screen reboot.
My surprise is that I could not get into recovery.
I've solved flaseando philz by odin.

So, I've installed the C.O.H Kernel in the Xperia Rom and I've tried a Factory Reset. After that my Note went in a constant, black screen reboot (Bootloop). Even i cant get it start in Recovery Mode. Thanks god I've solved the problem by flashing the Philz Kernel via ODIN.
Next time please, use a good Translator such as Google Translate (Google Traductor in your case)..
Saludos y buena suerte!

Why don't you just ask the question inside helloworld kernel thread instead of creating a question thread in the general section which is supposed to be in the q&a section?

[Q] return to stock recovery

Hi guys, I just own a s3 mini and I have a question, I had other devices but I've never done this before.
Is it possible to back to stock recovery after flashing a rom? I mean that when I press the keys to get into cwm / twrp with the phone off it turns as a hard reset instead.
Thanks in advance.

You can flash stock recovery in cwm or twrp, but I'm not following why you'd like to do that
Well, is because if I lost my phone again, I suppose that the first thing the people is gonna do is a hard reset, so I'll be available to delete all my data remotely using cerberus. If the phone has cwm and they flash a new rom or install a stock firmware with Odin, cerberus will be deleted...

You can flash your stock rom via odin but untick F.reset and your data won't be deleted but you will lose root. But your stock recovery will be restored

I don't want stock rom =P. I want to flash P.A.Cman and after that restore stock recovery.

Look at my signature for the recovery database. You'll find flashable zip there.
You won't loose root by changing recovery, and you can at any time flash back cwm with rommanager. Don't have to deal with odin

OK ty, I won't have any problems with the custom rom right? I mean, I can have stock recovery and custom rom running without problems, isn't it? So when I wanna change the rom again I just need to flash back cwm using rom manager, am I right?

[Q] Changing baseband

My note previously was N7000xxlsa Baseband
now i am stuck on recovery
i want to go back stock rom . so what baseband i have to use now
Is it possible to change baseband version ?
i am from india
can i use ddlsc baseband?
Please help
If you flash a stock ROM, your baseband will be changed automatically, as it just indicates the radio version you are using.
It will not change the fact your phone is not booting, nor its a requirement for flashing another ROM.

You can flash the .199 kernel in CWM using this: http://d-h.st/i2u

Yes it's better, but when the android version is the same (4.3 for example), usually there's no problem to keep old data.
