[Q] alternate 'answer a call'-button / cloning screen to Samsung TV? - Xperia Z Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

hello everybody,
i hope someone can help me with the following two issues regarding my xperia z (using stock rom with root).
1. my hands are small so i find it hard to answer calls 'one-handed'. is there a possibility to assign this function to another key, e.g. the on/off one?
2. did anyone manage to clone the xperia's screen to a Samsung TV? mine is an UE50ES6710S which should have everything necessary built-in.
THX!

really no one?

You need MHL adapter to be able to use tv with phone, regarding the small hands, dunno, put em in hot water for awhile

AT-Command set

Hi all,
I've been doing a bit of digging and can't find either a technical reference with HTC or any unoficial source.
Does anyone know where the AT command set (over bluetooth) for the kaiser? I'm wanting to write some software for monitoring the phone over bluetooth as I've done in the past for my Sony Ericsson phones, etc.
Thanks in advance folks!

[Q] 3rd party headset or hifi-speakers for phone out

Hi all,
I discovered today that I cannot hear the voice of a phone call through 3rd party headsets or through another speaker device (hifi box, car stereo,...) I was wondering if anyone has found a way around this, either with an application, a custom rom or some manual hacking.
Please share your opinions
Also it would be nice to change the answering method to automatic or to something that does not imply sliding buttons only when usb and headsets. This would make my phone convenient for use on my car!
found out that it works on recent speedmod. I had been on darky's 8.0 for too long.

[Q] [howto] rSap Samsung Galaxy S plus

Hi Guys,
Sorry if this is in the wrong forum!
Im kinda of a android noob and I just recieved my new card (VW Golf 6) with a RNS310 navigation system.
I can connect my Samsung Galaxy S plus with the system but then it says there is no network connection so i can't make phone calls or get called etc..
No i figured out this has to do with rSap, but how do i get this to work properly on my Galaxy S plus?
I have a standaard phone without any roms installed. (fabric std. T-Mobile)
If you need any more information please ask!
I just tried out my phone on a slightly older VW Golf with a RNS310 and there it doenst use RSAP.. and it works perfeclty.
Now i just only need to find a way to get RSAP to work properly or try to connect without it.. :S:S:S anyone?
Sorry for the bump, nobody that can fix this?
Unfortunately I don't have any bluetooth option in my VW Polo (2010 model) so I can't test it out. Maybe you can find any information or any hint on this page? http://forum.android-rsap.com/index.php
There's a pricey app on the market which works well. In bed at the no so can't look it up. I'm waiting on a clever ROM cook to integrate rsap support back into ICS . May be a while though

[Q] How does the TRRS female in the galaxy S work?[Technical]

Greetings,
I'm making a school project and I want to make a control pannel for the samsung galaxy S using the TRRS female jack. (It's the audio insert).
When I bought the phone I got something like this with it, but it only has 1 button, u can use it for play/pause or to aswer incomming calls. I want to make something like this with more buttons, for example next song, previous song, play/pause to control an app.
So basically what I want to know are the following things:
1. How does the TRRS work on the Samsung galaxy S?
Tip = Left Output
Ring = Right Output
Ring = eather Ground or Function?
Sleeve = eather Ground or Function?
Does anyone know which one it is. Than the next, how does the Galaxy S messure the input? I believe it uses a function with different resistors so the ground will have different values in Voltage, and a specifik voltage is a different function?
Does anyone know how this works? Maybe I got it al wrong.
2. So if we have an incomming signal by solving the problem of question 1, what does the phone do with the signal? Does it make an event of the input or something?
In other words, what does the Android system or the phone do with the incomming signal and how can I use it in my application?
I hope theres someone out there with answers, and I'm sorry if I'm not specifik enough, it's my first school year so I don't know alot about it yet and theres not alot information about this on the internet.
Thanks for you help and time!
Mitchell
If you go to Samsung site I think you can get all the device service manuals and you should I imagine be able to work it out from them?
Good luck with the project
Hi!
If you ever make any progress with this, Im happy to try it out!
