There is way to install andriod without WM rom ?

Hi,
I would like to know if there is way to install just android without install Windows Mobile rom ?
I mean that the Android boot without using WM ...
At the moment no, I think we lack a bootloader to start booting the rom, also Android is not yet stable enough to use as a stand-alone OS for our phones, I'm certain it will all come together in time, much as the Familiar Linux Project did on the Ipaq series of PDA's.
Until then we have the best compromise, useable android, with the comfort of having WM still available for when we really need it.
Moved as not ROM Development....
take a look at

It's based on Android, anyway. With some modification ex. launcher, etc. It's still Android. It's not possible to port WP, to our phone, I think it's too difficult
Post this questions in the general Q&A thread see the index
AW: [REQ] windows phone rom
Why don't you use VeyRemix?
Mod edit: Links removed.
Sent from my GT-I9001 using xda app-developers app
Not only difficult, but it can't be done due to the copyright...WP isn't a free platform like Android, you can't just take it it's all been said before..If you want something what looks like WP7 you have Launcher 7, and I think there was a GB ROM for our device that looks like WP..
i wnated to say if somebody can make a rom not to port the wp os
R: [REQ] windows phone rom
It's cm7 with mods it isnt a windows Phone port!
Sgnef
I said if somebody can port that rom or make a new one

[Q][HELP][NOOB] firefox os

hello to all,
I have a couple of questions to ask those who know more than me about creations ROMs, etc. I am currently studying a way to make a light porting and running firefox os on my p990 ... I started looking at the work of JordanRulz (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2058315)and I wanted to create my own version of the os. I wanted to ask, since firefox os is based on AOSP (if not mistaken) I can take the AOSP 4.4.2 and compile it with the latest version of firefox os? IF POSSIBLE, I would like some help and a guide to learn how to do it, and if I can prepare an initial version, also wanted to know where to turn to find out if I'm going in the right direction or not ...
thanks in advance to those who answer me =)

There's ports for the Galaxy S2 and Nexus S so I would assume it's possible. There's things not working though such as Wi-Fi, vibrate and so on.
I don't know how much you would have to change doing a port of Flyme OS but in all fairness, unless you are extremely proficient with Android and Flyme, I wouldn't recommend it.
If you still want to go ahead though then check these links out:

and
http://forum.xda-developers.com/nexus-s/development/rom-flyme-os-1-0-5-10-20-2012-t1946065
Again, I don't know how much you would have to change (libs etc) in these ROMs to get them booting on the One and get some of the non-working components working again.

Closest port to the One I've found is the One V
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2292536
I'm no dev so I don't know how much would need to be edited apart from updating the base from CM9 to CM11.
There's people better qualified than myself who could help though I just thought I'd try and give you a little push in the right direction

[Q] Difference between Linux and Windows version?

Hey there,
I'm sorry if this is a stupid question, but I was wondering why so many people use linux to build android apps. Shouldn't Android Studio be the same for both the operative systems? I've got a pretty decent computer, so I don't think I could see any speed difference. Currently I have both OS installed on my hard disk.
bad thinking
Its really bad thinking

What do you mean?
There is no big difference in developing android apps on Linux or win or mac . Linux is preferred because its free and android ROM and kernel development is easy on Linux compared to Mac and windows. Otherwise app development is same on all three OS .
