[APP] LG Notification

Hi
I just posted this application on the android market.
https://market.android.com/details?id=com.chimerique.LGNotification.Free
This application will highlight your LG Phone (O2X) buttons when you missed a SMS, MMS or Email (Gmail).
It will also set back your default highlight preference each time you reboot your phone....

I wasn't satisfy from other apps, so decided to make my own.
Do not hesitate to give some feedback
What is the difference between your app and other LG notification apps?
This app never interfere with the phone getting in sleep mode. This is the main point on what I've been working and done my testing.
Hey, could you pls try to make it compatible with optimus one's hard keys' backlight?
now there is the same function as on CM7
Hi,
compatibility with other apps (like whatsapp, k9, fb, friend caster, etc) could be very usefull
Max
At the very least, missed calls notification is a very important function.
Ok, like I said it, I got some Hard drive problem
Impossible to upload a new version of the application => So I had to create a new app on the market https://market.android.com/details?id=com.c...Notification.Fr
Added missed call
Corrected a bug
Hi,
Can you make it work with Go SMS Pro? I have a LG Optimus Black... If you want, I could test if it works in my phone.
Thanks!

Rom with Call Recording

After a lot of googling, I flashed a Chinese Android 2.1 rom sbf file and get the call recording function.
I wonder if there is any screen capture apps or how can I modify my phone to make screen capture like the cm7 style, just pressing the power button.
Accidentally, see this commit I've made few days ago:
https://github.com/nadlabak/android...mmit/7ef5f6ab9c6b90f237efaef4560666be4666d4be
The next build of CM7 for Milestone will have the call recording feature enabled.
It works fine on my phone since last Friday.
Great, hope that it will soon be available and thank you very much for the effort.
Excuse me, I just flash the cm7.2.0 rom, do I need any apps to start the call recording, or can I just start it the in dialing apps?

Call Recorder Widget works fine for me - https://market.android.com/details?id=labs.xpro.callrecorder
It does not use any non-stop running background service, it just adds record button to in-call screen, which is exactly what I need.
Despite the description, it works great in non-speaker phone mode.
The only issue is that the Market says that this app is not compatible with Milestone and it's filtered out from market search results done on phone (at least for me). ALL CREDITS TO KABALDAN I JUS COPY PASTED fem cm7 thrd
After two days of testing, call recorder widget seems to be working fine. Thanks Shalom06. Is it normal to have some annoying "do-do" sound while recording?

[Q][CM11-EXP] Camera works but not for third party apps

Hello Everyone,
yesterday i finally flashed the experimental cyanogenmod11 on my Z1. So far everythings
fine (in contrary to FXP303 also camera and gps work). But every third party app, like
QRdroid, BarcodeScanner or AppJobber works weird with the camera. When they show the
camera i can see a clear view for a wink, but then it splits up into four views (all the
same), but with extreme noise and extremely colourful.
I think, that a part of the Sony-Firmware does this to the camera input for third party plugins,
because when i take a screenshot of it (tried to post it here) the view is perfect, without
noise, no split, ... and the same, when i change to another app.
Removing the sony-firmware just shuts down the camera completely (believe me, i tried),
but the camera at least works, even when the firmware is greenified.
Now my question is, if anybody experiences the same problem and how you worked it around
or if somebody has an idea how to deal with that problem.
My next attempt will be to kill every single sony process on the phone one after one and
test the camera, if that was the evil camera-disabler.
Thanks in advance!

You don´t need to erase anything. Just flash Cm11, go to development options and disable HW overlays. Your third party camera apps will work fine

[Q] Quiet Notification Sounds from 3rd Party Apps!

Hello,
Just a quick question, but has anyone found out a way to stop this from happening? Text messages, phone calls, etc from built in apps all give correct volume levels when the notification/call arrives.
However, any third party apps such as facebook messenger or whatsapp etc have extremely low notification volume.
This was a common problem with the Galaxy Note 4 and some newer LG phones too. No one seems to know if it's an android bug present since 4.4 and in 5.0, or if it's a safety feature.
Either way, it's extremely annoying. I'm gonna say its a bug, as if I get 2 notifications in quick succession, the 2nd will always be at max volume. Also at times the notification volume is at max regardless, before it goes quiet again an hour or so later.
There was an app that prevented all of this in 4.4, but it does not work with Lollipop.
This is present in the stock Android L builds from google, and in every custom ROM I've tried so far.
Any solutions?
Thanks in advance!
Hey,
I'm also having this problem. did you ever find a fix?

Changing the Background of Messages

Hi all,
I'm new here and am hoping someone can help. I have a Galaxy S6 Active. Pretty much since day one, I have used a third party app for texting because I didn't like the limited choices for backgrounds in the stock app. I prefer dark backgrounds on my phone and the few standard backgrounds for messages are all white or light colored. Using the third party app has been fine, until yesterday. That's when I got my new Gear Sport smartwatch. Apparently, you can't have a third party texting app in use if you want to be able to text on your watch, so I ditched the third party app. I'm now left wondering if I just didn't look hard enough in the Galaxy Apps or somewhere else to find a darker setting for the stock messages app on the S6 Active. From the little bit of research I've managed, I've learned:
1. the stock messages app isn't the same across all of the S6/Active/Edge(+) phones.
2. the stock messages app isn't the same based on carriers.
Is there any hope for me?
Many thanks!
Install a different theme on your phone. Go to Settings/wallpaper and themes/Themes tab and find one you like. I have an ICS theme on my phone and texts show up with a dark background and white text.

Thanks loads!! It worked like a charm.
A follow up, seemingly related question: since switching to the stock Messaging app, there have been occasions when I have swiped the screen to respond to another notification or even when I have simply swiped to open the phone that the Messaging app automatically opens. I thought that it was because the icon was at the bottom of the screen and that I was somehow inadvertently opening it even though that's where it's always stayed since I got my first smartphone years ago. So I moved the icon and it still happens. It wouldn't be such a problem if it didn't also open up the texting thread of the same person every time. If it just opened to the list of conversations, it wouldn't be as annoying, but I don't want people to see my texts. I have a lot of nosey people in my life.
Thanks again!!
