No ,it download from official server and store in temp file and than flash your mobile
For using your frimware use odin

The bootloader is already unlocked. Just flash easy root zip via recovery

make a backup with CWM if you want to go back to your stock rom..

you think im stupid?getril doesnt support baseband change,google it,think about it before writing a reply
Just flash lg original firmware containing the baseband, after that root it, install cwm and restore your prior made backup.
Only way i know....

Check using *#272*IMEI#. This will give you a list of csc you have. Select GB.
This will wipe the phone so make sure you are on a safe kernel.

No.. Just select the csc as per your region. The phone will reset and the you should be able to connect to kies for upgrade.

Yes. Also you can install any latest version using odin. It's better then kies upgrade.

Uploading them would take some time. Flashing fw takes 5 mins. Just take some backups using titanium backup and flash it...

Well i have customized the system alot, doing it again is a headache. Who will go for flashing just for 1apk problem?

As I said, when you make a backup of all apps, you can reflash and restore the backups so you keep your customization..

Hi im on doomkernel and existenz rom with unlocked bootloader with my ta partition backed up.
Is it.possible to run this rom with a stock kernel so i can lock my bootloader and flash back my ta partition,
How i see it,once i did that i guess fully restock isnt a big deal right

Yeah I know but I think It will also end in a bootloop. I think you can try it because a bootloop isnt a big problem^^

Yeah if you flash all back to stock you can repair and update what you want with what you want ^^
