1080p 60fps hack? - One (M7) Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Is there any possibility to get this type of video recording In HTC ONE in the near future by using some kind of hack or ROM implementation? I know that there is a 720p 60fps option but the video quality is terrible even though it's smooth.

Is there any VIDEO RECORDING APPS

Hi is there any Video recording APPS to reccommend?
Im using AKOP JB video recording is not that good quality..
Hope someone can give me some tips....

Nothing will make a difference. But if you are talking about phone screen recording, then Screencast should do the job.

use Camera ICS+, im using it and video is not lagging unlike the stock jellybean camera.

Video recording autofocus?

Is there any way to enable autofocus in video recording(camera app/kernel/rom changes)? I think hardware is capable because it can autofocus when taking pictures and that only software is limiting it. Any suggestions?

Use lgCamera, but be careful with the bitrate setting. The focus won't be automatic, but it will be touch focus.

Samsung didn''t put many things on the stock ROM... not buying my next phone from them, unless I have the money for a flagship.
Anyway, remember, be very careful with the video bitrate setting as phones tend to choke on big videos... even OG S3 skipped frames on me on a 20 Mbps video.

That happens to me too.. JB isn't officially supported for our phone and Instagram only runs on phones officially running JB only for right now.. When they make video recording available to other Android versions it will start working.. But for now it's not working since we don't have the correct drivers

Thnx for clarifying that for me.. I disabled overlay hw in settings n it helps a bit but my video camera (regular) is blurry but videos come out kinda good not 1080p more like 720p...weird...

Video resolution in slow motion mide

Hi there I have just realised that my One records videos in slo mo mode in resolution 768x432 which it must be said causes that video looks awful even on phone screen (I dont even want to see it on pc). After editing and adjusting video speed resolution changes to 432x768 (?!) and video quality gets even worse that original. Is this normal or this is just my One? If that is how it meant to be I cant believe how HTC can be proud of this feature and advertise this as one of the One advantage

[Q] 1080p Video Recording

Hi all.
I have been trying to enable 1080p recording on our s3 mini and would like some help. I downloaded cm11 from the xperia P (same cpu, records 1080p, different camera) and changed our build.prop and media_profiles.xml to try enable it. Now in the stock camera and other camera apps I get the option to record 1080p but its always gives me an error. But when I change from 720 to 1080 in the camera app I can cleary see a change in the field of view, i.e, it gets wider.
Someone on here said a while back that the hardware is capable of it but it just needs to be enabled. Has anyone any experience is anything like this? I have seen it been done before on the Moto Atrix 4g and Galaxy Nexus.
I thought the camera wasn't capable of recording in 1080p.

our hardware only supports up to 720p recording. apps dont change this
