GenYBoot Android SD card problem

Hi,
Had been running throught the internet but can't find an answer. I have GenYBoot installed and Android 2.2.1 running from Internal storage of my HTC Touch Diamond. I have a problem with SD-card in Android which ... does not exist. If I want to save something it says that there is no SD-card - please insert the card. Device desen't see any additional storage than own memory (<200MB). There is no need to say it's anoying as it doesn't allow me even to download ringtones....
Could you advise please?
Thanks,
Andrew.
Solution
Just a simple trick
I don know what rom ur using, but i had da same prob
Jus delete every single file in the 4gb storage first, then put ur android files fresh ther and start the haret file from file explorer. This should do da trick, it did it for me.

Alright first download this HP FORMAT TOOL
http://www.pcworld.com/downloads/file/fid,64963-order,4/description.html
second, copy all the contents from your INTERNAL SD only card onto your desktop
third, run the tool and choose between quick format [works for me all the time] or full format. Once done re-copy all your files back on the INTERNAL

[Q] Environment.getExternalStorageDirectory();

Hi.
I'm currently developing an application on my Desire, and it uses the "File X = Environment.getExternalStorageDirectory();" to get the SD card directory (that I need to use to save some BIG log files).
But in the end this application should be able to run in a multitude of devices, like the Samsung Galaxy S.
My question is this: Does that command return the Mass storage (the phone's internal one) or the SD card path?
If it does access the SD card, how do I get the path for the Mass storage?
Thanks in advance!

[Q] Possible to fix InternalSD / .pit file

is possible to use external sd as internal with a .pit file?
since .pit file defines the partitions.
sorry my en.
No but there is a solution.
Link here : http://dl.dropbox.com/u/63255192/AOKP/InvertedSDcards.zip
It invert the mount point of sd cards ( when you'll apply it, external sd will be called mnt/sdcard instead of emmc/sdcard ) and the apps who require data dowloading will consider your external sd like an internal sd. With this tweak will able to have 16Go of internal storage if you have a 16Go sd card (for example).
If you have problem there is another file to revert the mod

Using sd card as main phone memory?

Hi there,
I recently got an 32 gb sd card but have just realised that apps such as Deezer will only use the phones internal phone storage.
I think my only option is to somehow get the phone to use the SD card as it main memory - will this work? Will I have to root my phone?
Thanks
...also, what would be the easiest way to root the phone? Will motofail2go be the best way and should it work with Jelly Bean?
thx
mount sd
Ok thats easy, what i used was this link http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1928509 (only works on ics) and http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2123369 (onlt works on jelly bean) just make sure to have recovery installed. Those are for root. And for how mount sd card i used this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2123369 (just look for your model)
thanks - but I think you copied in the wrong link for the sd card part?
so I rooted and used this tool
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2022727
and it worked...(I see 30gb data through camera/deezer etc)
however...
I can no longer access my Settings!! any ideas!? It just says settings cannot be loaded
sorry..i can access settings...i just can't access the storage part of it...should i be worried?
If it won't cause any other issues, I can live with it...

Go to /system/build.prop
and change persist.sys.vold.switchexternal=0 to persist.sys.vold.switchexternal=1

thank you for the reply, but this method does not work for 4.4 , i found that i need to use a kernel which have enabled sd card swapping. there is no other way for now. so flashed back to ICS ..hopefully someone will find a new method soon

Another solution here.
Also this. It might work although it's for SGSII.
