Couple weeks ago bionic did a voicemail update, the could no longer gain service. Factory reset, then problem was that I would power on then as soon as any service was acquired it would restart itself and not stop this until battery pull. Anyone know anything?? Please help I cannot afford to replace. Thank you for your time

I saw in a forum that Motorola blocks wireless tether for root users on gingerbread... and since the bootloader is still locked I was wondering if there was a patch to solve this dilemma?
Thank you

Ya, what she said lol
Not trying to be a jerk but these tethering threads leave me scratching my head. If you need it that badly, pay for it. I've heard all the arguments against doing so but there's no such thing as free lunch.

I'm not having any of those issues. I'd say take it back and tell them its defective.

Yeah I've looked alot and no one seems to be having issues like this problem is do I have to pay for a new phone I have the warrenty but do I have to pay the $70 replacement
Sent from my LG-P925 using XDA App
No that is only if you break the phone and get it replaced.

Many of these phones have reported random reboots. Mine does at times also.

My phone just started today where it won't connect to internet unless I'm on wifi. It shows 3g but isn't going for anything. multiple battery pulls, reboots, Sim card trick, the whole 9. I'm in Westchester, but the part without 4g. Anyone know what's the deal?
Sent from my DROID BIONIC using Tapatalk
Verizon is doing something to their networks today. Affecting 4g phones in certain areas.
You could always give them a call and get more details.
Sent from my DROID BIONIC using xda premium
I'm on a dealer line so they won't help me lol. I'm limited on what I can do and the call centers close for us on weekends
Sent from my DROID BIONIC using Tapatalk
just an update that I'm in a 4 g area now and it's working now but when I'm back in 3 g it doesn't
Sent from my DROID BIONIC using Tapatalk
I did call yesterday. There were outages all over the midwest and beyond. They were activating new 4g towers yesterday and Thursday which I guess made something happen to the 3g....

Lol, matter of opinion. I thought they were ugly. I don't know what kind of community they have or what kind of roms, good luck though.

Bad. I had the Revolution, then went to the Charge after my Revo got stolen. I had the Charge for about a week and sold it for another Revo. The only thing better about the Charge is the display. Beautiful screen!
Sent from my Dread Ginger Revo using Tapatalk.
I guess ill hve to try it out lol if I don't like it they said they'd get me a revo back. I just keep losing data connection for some reason with the revo , doesn't seem to matter what rom im running either.

Is it just on a ROM or on stock as well?
Sent from my Dread Ginger Revo using Tapatalk.
It did it stock as well. Verizon replaced the phone with a refurb and it done it too. That's when I decided to try gingervolt out. It seemed to help , but the issue was still there just not as often

Lost my bluetooth also , I downloaded the bluetooth fix and flashed it but it didn't help. Still force closes when I turn on bluetooth and try to pair with a device

Yea the display is pretty nice but it just doesn't seem as nice as the revolution. Especially without an led , its been a pet peeve for me

I was browsing r/android and I came across this thread:
Showing the upcoming update list for some verizon phones
and I noticed that it looks like we may be getting some type of update on or around 5/16, according to the second picture:
Here
Anyone have any ideas what this may be? I know it's not going to be a major update like ICS, or they would include us in that list and probably make a big deal out of it, but with zv8 having just come out, I wonder what they could be pushing now.
If that's correct its a pretty big update. 127mb

Our update is 21mb. The line below that is the spectrum which is 127mb. I wonder what is getting updated though. I had my first random reboot ever this morning and I have had the phone since October.
