I really hate the menu that pops up in apps such as facebook taking up space, ive tried hide bar but it also hides the status bar as well. is there anyway to hide or disable this.
also any suggestions on a button remapper that i can use to hold the back button to pull up menu, if not ill just use gmd gesture control(it just causes issue though)
Install a ROM that allows you to hold back for menu like viper, this will remove the menu pop up

Adding on to this... In the display settings of the rom there should be the option to enable long press as it isn't on by default.

I don't know why but the vibration feedback has stopped working when I am writing messages etc.
Is this a known issue? In the settings it is checked on vibrate on keypress..

Go to the Power Saver in the Notification area. Have you got a tick in the box? If so untick it.
Yeah I realised power save settings were still on after I froze power app to remove it from notification drawer.
It's working now. Thanks anyway mate

Just FYI, you can remove the notification without freezing the power app. First, unfreeze the app and you'll see the notification re-appear. From there, long press the notification and hit 'App Info' (You can also get to this from settings -> apps -> all). Uncheck the box to "Show notifications" and it will go away and not prevent you from using the 'Power' menu.
Hey guys I was wondering if there is a way to remove the 3 dot menu bar that comes up when you open an app. I downloaded the Logo menu kernel and don't see a use for it as it takes up so much room on the screen. Did I miss a setting or option? Thanks again everyone!
Are you running a custom Rom? If so go into display settings and turn on long press back button for menu. That shuts off the black bar

Hi. Does anybody know how to make status bar hidden while on action launcher using Sentinel rom?
Sent from my HTC One using xda premium
There is a Xposed module called app settings, which also have a full screen option per app
Thank you! Only downside is that when full screen mode is enabled, you can't access the quick settings or notification shade with shortcuts using pie. It will do until pie mode is made for my rom!

Don't know exactly what you mean or which pie app you use. But with LMT pie, you can set pie or swipe commands for quick settings or accessing the notificationbar as far as I know.
Yes this is true, but when the status bar is hidden by the xposed module, the settings and notification shade don't come down until I open an app that doesn't have the status bar hidden. If that makes sense? Haha

Tried it. The full screen app seems to force itself on top, so when you set a swip command for the statusbar it does come down, but because the full screen app forces itself on top it's behind the app. When you close the app it's there. That's some kind of funny
This is my first android with soft buttons, and coming from the DNA's 5" screen I would like to hide the navbar to get more screen space during games. I have root, and I tried GMD auto hide but when I hid the bar the phone just kept crashing. I just downloaded ultimate dynamic navbar and it says the safe way is to get XPOSED and install a module. Where do I find XPOSED? I had a MotoXposed but it didn't have the hid navbar option (and I couldn't get any of the other options to stick anyways) So is anyone out there using an app to hide the navbar on their Moto x? Thanks!

MotoXposed (as well as the option you are talking about in UDN) require the Xposed Framework to be installed. You download Xposed Installer, install the Framework with that app, and then activate the desired modules within that app.
Go nova settings/look and feel/ un check show nav bar.
The option in nova is notification bar! I tried the usual methods. But get system ui errors. Build prop edit will get rid of it, but that's for good.

Yeah, I don't want to get rid of it, just hide it when I don't need it

To do this with Nova Launcher purchase version will be needed. Go to Nova Settings/ Gestures and Buttons/ then pick a gester like swipe down/ Toggle Notification bar. You would have to toggle the Notification bar before opening the app.
I hope this helps.
You can always just hide it using that build.prop edit then use pie launcher (lmt launcher) to be your nav bar

This app will help you hide the navbar, and replace it with Pie gestures when you swipe from the sides of the screen. there's lots of customization that comes with it as well. Have fun!

This app can hide the navbar indeed, but it hide the notification bar and disabled the recent apps interface as well..... Cannot separate these two things......

Just wanted to know if there is any mod for the notification bar to put quick toggles the way that Sammy phones have it. I hate having to click something to get to the toggles.

What do you mean by "click something to get to the toggles?" Just swipe the notification shade down with two fingers to show the toggles. Tap a toggle to go into its settings or tap and hold to toggle the function.

There's no way to add new toggles to the noti. shade right? I'd kill for a flashlight switch there.

There is. It's called "Power Toggles" You can add many toggles (including flashlight) right below the date in the notification drawer. You don't even have to be rooted for this.

Yes, they are handy being right there. That's a Samsung mod, stock Android is not like that.

Go to playstore download an app called power toggles. Open the app and configure what toggles you want on notification bar. It will be the same as in samsung

Have you Checked out Xposed Framework and Gravitybox?
It allows you to turn your quicksettings into toggles. The main reason why I used gravitybox was the torch & wifi AP toggle plus it was just update so you can rearrange the order.
This option might be better if you want to keep android looking stock. Also Xposed framework brings in all kinds of options you'd expect with custom roms.
I'm hoping we get these kind of toggles on the Moto X. This is my Gnex. I don't know why moto didn't add the option to add more toggles like the SIV and G2.

Sorry to bring back a fairly old post but I have been looking for an Xposed module to do Notification toggles. I thought Gravity Box did it but I cant find it. Am I overlooking it or did it lose that feature along the way?

I've customized them already. I want them as notification toggles not tiles on their own curtain. There is no setting I can find to turn off the rules and make them toggles on the notification curtain.

If you long press they act as toggles (that behavior can be changed as well). I know what you mean though. Maybe you can look at "Power Toggles" in the play store.

I really like Notification Toggles in Play. If rooted you can install as a system app and get true 1-touch state switching.

This. With gravity box..you just long press the tile and it toggles....no need to go into settings like when you just press the tiles quick.
Most...that I've tried anyway...apps that give you toggles on the notification screen, like Samsung, give you an icon in the status bar on the top left. And you can't get rid of it. Personally I can't stand that. Lol
