I unlocked my bootloader on my Atrix and installed CWM via fastboot. The process went well. The only issue I seem to have is that no rom seems to install. Also, I cannot format the phone either. Any ideas?
What roms have you tried? Some you need to mount the system first.

Here's the problem can anyone help me upon this.
I was using Cynogen Nightly 9.1 version then I saw [ROM][JB][4.2.1][18/01/13] CyanAOSP v0.5.2 [Stable | For Gaming] seems amazing so then I downloaded and installed successfully. Everything seemed okay but as the ROM started it was giving me a constant error which was like "Wizard stopped working" I was totally unable to get my hands on this rom.
So I then updated my rom again to cyanogen 10.1 Nightly.
my question is should install it now will it work fine?
AW: [ROM]CyanAOSP v0.5.2 (NEED HELP)
I think something went wrong when you installed the first time.
Follow this steps and it should work:
1. Backup your data
2. Enter recovery
3. Wipe data/factory reset
2. Wipe Cache
3. Wipe Dalvik Cache
4. Under mounts and storage --> format/system
5. Then install the zip
6. Enjoy

Hi, I also tried the ROM and got the same message (setup wizard...)as you did. After all the "wipes" and format "system" and "datadata" i also made the error of formating SDcard.
Now I have my phone in Restart loop showing Galaxy S logo and then SEMAPHORE....and loop.....and loop....
Sugestions?
Thanks in advance

If you can enter recovery try to wipe data and install again ( under mounts and storage you can mount USB and put files on your sd)
If you can't enter recovry you have to flash GB over Odin

I install the .zip file with CMW.
After wipe data/factory reset, wipe cache partition, wipe dalvik cache, format system I reboot.
And the phone does not boot.
It stops at the LG logo.
Any solutions?
I tried also with TWRP

Dude 1st: format/wipe everything
2nd: install/flash rom
still nothing...
I install it again without re-flashing kdz
is it right?
or I need to flash the kdz, wipe all then install?
now I use TWRP recovery.

Probably now you have some kind of tutti-frutti of files in your phone...
Better flash your phone with .kdz or other method, after that follow the tutorial.
Did you flash from ICS? You need to be on V20 (JB) before you flash it.

Oh, just realised you stated you formatted system. You're not supposed to do that since /system contains the ROM, so it wouldn't boot past kernel logo.

Then what I could do?
Now I am on v20a with TWRP installed.
I need to reboot into recovery, do a factory reset, system wipe, cache wipe, data wipe and then install?
TWRP is the same of CMW?
Thanks

I sugest you to use adb instead of terminal.
Once that you facrtory reseted the phone, check if you didn't forgot nothing... root, etc...
Try install SuperSU if you have Superuser.

Hello.
My friend has a brother with 7 years, and his brother blocked his phone, and now He doesn't know what is the password.
He has root and fastboot, but when I try to install recovery I can't.
I use the CMD (fastboot) (cellphone in fastboot mode)
fastboot flash recovery cwm.img
but failed
It showed this message : invalid inage size for partition recovery.
Please, what do I need to do ?
I'm helping him.
So I guess you're trying to wipe data, right?

Yes, I want to do wipe data/factory, but I'm unsuccessfully.
When I needed to use "fastboot/cmd" with my xt925 I was unsuccessfully too ...
Then I use a client "v8 flasher recovery", but it is other history xD
I don't understand Why "fastboot/cmd" never work with me.

I tryed with twrp and cwm.
Will be that something is missing ?
When I flashed CWM for the first time I had bricked my phone,re flashed it with RSD (I guess you are bootloader unlocked), downloaded the proper fastboot files for it and then flashed CWM with the same command as you, so I don't know anything that could be impending you from installing it.

Why do you not try to wipe data in the stock recovery?
via Razr I & Tapatalk 4
good was changing rom did all wipes and other and want to install the rom the following image appears to me, apparently the internal memory is damaged case is attempting to rds and gives failure in the first partition use the MyTools ahd and nothing and I know I have a brick or can be recovered thanks what if the external memory reads and installing the rom stays in bootloop and not start and fails to mount system and data
this gets me in the recovery
That doesn't looks good... You say that you can't flash it with RSD? Have you tried to flash with any other original ROM? Like MX or AT&T?
