I am currently running AOKP with an unlocked bootloader and phone is experiencing some serious screen stutter/lag. It is evident everywhere and makes playing most games unbearable. I killed all of my widgets and also tried switching from Apex back to the default launcher, but the lag persists. Is there a known lag issue with AOKP? Any thoughts?
I'm running AOKP 4.2.2 and i rarely experience lag and when i do its not bad. Maybe try reflashing the rom.

I'm having a lot of problems with my phone running JVB, especially when playing games like Angry Birds with choppy video and Asphalt 5 for example is even worse. I've already tried to reset my phone to factory defaults and I've also reflashed JVB with re-partition. I've also tried JVH, but that was causing me random reboots. I'm also running DamianGTO Gold Kernel, with lagfix enabled.
Does anyone have a solution?
Maybe you should try a Gingerbread rom like honey or Tweaky.

I've already tried WizROM 4.1 based on darky's JVH which was also causing me several random reboots over less than three hours and asking me for pin out of nowhere! I got so fed up with it i ditched within a day, also battery life was awful over 30% in an hour for just being in my pocket

Those using Launcher Pro on the Bionic, what's your experience?
My LP dock has shadow's below it. Anyone else?
Many have been reporting FCs with LP. No issues reported yet with ADW Launcher or Go Launcher.
I've been using my Bionic heavily since launch day with LP and experienced no problems. I have all 4 types of docks and LP plays nice with all going into and coming out of dock modes. I see no shadow under the LP dock icons.
LP has been running good for me. Only glitch I've noticed is that on first boot it'll force close sometimes but runs good after that. What issues are other people having?
Ive been rooted and running LP Pro Version since day 1, haven't had a single FC yet.

no fc here using lp on rooted bionic since day 1. increased to 5x5 with 5 home screens. Also using BW.
Been using LP since day one, haven't had a single problem. Miles better than MOTOBLUR, or as I like to call it, MOTO****.
Rooted with LP, no problems here, just hate landscape mode being forced in the car dock, that's not an LP problem though...

I've installed LP unrooted and it seems to work pretty well, the only issue I've seen is that my device seems to boot up a bit slower when running LP vs the stock launcher.
I also have had no problems with LP.
I stuck with the stock launcher for a little bit, then got tired of the paginated app drawer and no auto-rotate on the homescreen, so loaded up ADW (since that's what I used on my x). used it for about a min and realized it was really choppy (for whatever reason), so decided to try LP. Running it and this time it's smooth as all get-out.

i've just downloaded temple run and it works great no lag at all unlike when i was running GB. but there's no sounds at all during the whole game. even the game Where's my water? FC's and no sounds. does anyone experience this too? or did i do something wrong installing my ics rom?
This only happened to me when i was running Texasice's ICS, try Spazedog, it worked fine for me.

After tried with cm7.2, i using stock (dxkt6 2.3.6) for stable and bugfree. However, this rom is laggy! It sometime lag when unlock, srolling in apps, change page in launcher. Special, the dialer is lag too, it take ~5s to lauch, one times, the dialer hang with black screen that i must restart phone.
Is this lag because i install more app? (I install ~50 apps) that use more RAM?

I don't think so, its some bugs in the stock itself, im using stock and it feels the same way as you. I hear galaxy y got a stablity update yesterday/ recently, i hope mini gets one too.
I never had stock freezing or black screen issues. But yea its laggy kind of :/
I had one timea only, the dialer hang with black screen, but other apps is work ok

I dont own this device but i might pick one up soon however i would like to know weather the homescreen lag on xperia z still exists. Many reviewer complain about it but they are running old software versions i guess. So espacially after 4.2 update is there still any lag? And if yes how does it look like if you are running a custom kernel? I really hope there is a way to fix that because i dont want to see it.

Yes there are kernels that can even improve the smoothness of the homescreens, but I would suggest you to try another launcher like novalauncher, that never lags at all!
Then it also depends on was apps are running in the background like Facebook etc

Definitely less lags than 4.1.2 , super fast
Absolutely no lag when using new honami launcher. a little when using stock 4.2.2 launcher
