[Q]RUU HongKong/Singapore Edition for 802W - One (M7) Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi There,
I just purchased HTC 802W (China Unicom) with dual Sim card (WCDMA and GSM).
The problem is, I hate the Official firmware (no Google Apps, no Facebook for sense, but full of useless chinese apps(at least for me)).
So I just want to know if I can install another RUU?
because Hong Kong Version or Singapore Version must be more usefull for me.
oh... did somebody try the developer RUU?
Can I install it in my device?
thanks
Han

sorry to disappoint you but the ans is NO you cannot use different RUU as we are s-on,

[Q] HD7 Unlocking Debranding.

Hey Guys,
I'm looking to upgrade to the HD7 in the near future main reason i'm waiting is because o2 UK has the device as an exclusive at the moment and i'm not prepared to switch network. I know some people have already unlocked their devices to be used on other carriers but from what you can tell has the been any repercussions? Also are there any unmodded - debranded ROMS avaliable?

Ceesheim, do you know what is the percentage of security unlocked among all HD7s? So far I've seen 2 in our discuss group more than 200 members. One is my T-mobile version, so lucky to get it, the other is one of the members, which i told him to search every bootloader mode before purchase, and he found it yesteday, O2 version.

I have almost the same issue. I'm brazillian and the English keyboard doesn't have "ã" and "õ" characteres... I want to use Spanish keyboard because of this, so... Anyone could help?
Is it a US T-Mobile HD7?
If so, I believe a goldcard is the only way to debrand. See this thread.
I'm still trying to figure out if the benefits (quicker updates, etc.) outweigh the issues introduced by using a European radio.

[Q] [ASK] 802W Blinkfeed

Does anybody know how to install other feed others than CHINESE feed?
I bought my 802w in china, but I hate the blinkfeed so much.
I want to see others news from others country.
Somebody please help me on this matter plz
802w Blinkfeed (only in) Chinese -- China Unicom
I have a 802w CHINA UNICOM phone
I too cannot seem to change the HTC BLINKFEED to anything other than the CHINESE installed 'local content'.
I have installed numerous ROMs and am currently using MAXIMUSHD1.02, still no luck.
I have used the phone in China, Italy, Ukraine, Singapore and Australia... works flawlessly except for the damn CHINESE ONLY BLINKFEED.
I believe I may need to do with re-root the phone or wait for MaximusHD (or HTC with there forever slow Android updates) to fix the problem...
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Loc, i ca-n not post link right now but here în xda forums exist internațional binkfeed. Just search in 802w thread.
Sent from my HTC 802w

Is there anyway to downgrade Lollipop?
I am also in the same boat with OP, I have a Sprint HTC One M8 Harmon/Kardon with Marshmallow 6.20.654.3. I live overseas and i need to get this phone sim-unlocked. Can this be done with the current software version or do I need to downgrade the ROM to be able to sim-unlock my phone for use with an international GSM-Network?
