Market not showing all HD games?

I have the new leaked market. Is anyone else having problems seeing all games, for example gamelofts new game Green Farm... even the website version says these simple games are not compatible but the Thunderbolt is...

I still have the standard market, and and only 7 Gameloft titles show up, and they don't the Green Farm. It may very well be that Gameloft has, once again, decided to start yanking their titles from the market for whatever reason. Honestly, that's the reason I haven't purchased a game from them... Plus I hear their support is pretty awful. It may not be your market, it may just be them... Btw, did you get the new market via OTA or a leaked apk?

Its not gameloft its the droid 3, I had a friend on a shift search right after me and both gameloft games I wanted showed up.

I have a Droid 3 and an iPod 4. The iOS versions are a LOT better performing, a lot cheaper and can be ported to other Apple device by the owner.
Gameloft's half hearted effort should be rewarded with no sales. At least until they publish in the market- just like they do for iTunes.

Could be due to the fact that it's not a Tegra 2 device. Most the HD games I've seen are advertised as optimized for the Tegra 2 processor. The Droid 3 is the first dual core device that isn't running on a Tegra 2 soc.

Not true, HTC/Sammy don't use no Tegra2, haven't you heard of the SGSII or Sensation or EVO 3D? The SGSII has a MALI/Exynos and the sensation uses the Dual SnapDraon with the Adreno[AMD] GPU. The reason some games aren't showing is due to something else, most likely the build.prop used in the Droid 3...My phone w/ the new market sees these games:

asphalt adrenaline
order of chaos
gt racing
nova 2
green farm
platinum sol 3
My phone is a single core with a Snapdragon/Android205 and it can see these games, I don't know if your phone has 2.3.3+ which may or not be a req for those games. Excuse me, if I was a tad disorganized in my post.

I think you skimmed through my post? I have a MT4G, I was explaing a possibility for why the game wasn't showing for the Droid3, it's most likely the market thinks the app isn't compatible, with your Droid3.

Go to that link, but log into Google account, find this farm game or whatever, and install it to the phone that you want it to go to, you should get a message that it's not compatible, due to something in the ROM you're using or the game doesn't support the D3 yet.

Yeah I did lol. Reason it is saying incompatible is because its made for tegra2 processors and the D3 sports an Omap processor

Yup lol. Also just tested chainfire from market that allows rooted devices to be used as Tegra2 even when its not. Still didn't work for gamelofts game Backstab HD when testing

Lack of high quality games support for the D3...what gives?

The D3 is lacking in the high quality games department. No official Gameloft support aside from the preloaded Let's Golf 2 and N.O.V.A., no Order and Chaos Online, no Splinter Cell Conviction, no Asphalt 6 Adrenaline...wth? The D3 hasn't gotten any love from EA Mobile either; no Madden 12, no Tetris, and no Need for Speed Shift.

Yesterday "Virtual City" was released.
All of these games work perfectly with the qHD resolution. Especially Virtual City is a great new, high-quality game!
I am waiting for Gameloft to release The Settlers HD for the Droid 3...

I must have some kind of ESP because I just tried to go to Gameloft's website and they now do have official support for the D3.

Incase you guys didn't know Gameloft is having a labor day sale(google it I can't post links) for those in the US, where all games are 99 cents, and they'll give out a free one every now and then. If you really want you can go to system/build.prop and edit the produce model to something like a droid 2 temporarily so that you can download a game or two. I downloaded dungeon hunter when it was free and it seemed to scale pretty well. Not great, but an ok alternative...

yea i agree, i bought tetris a few months ago on my thunderbolt and now i cant play it on my d3-_-

Modern combat 2 a no go sandstorm and nova work good... nfs shift isnt a d3 thing its a GB works good on froyo on the d2 once went to gb it was a no go odd eh... eternal warriors hd doesnt work .. glu game ive gotten to play . and gamevil.

You need to realize that this is one of the first phones with an OMAP4 in it. It will take some time for devs to properly support the cpu/gpu.

Btw : Nova 2 HD can now downloaded and installed in a specific Version for the Droid 3 from the Gameloft Site.
I bought it through the sale for 0.99 Dollar and it works nicely.
I wish they would release Aspahlt 6 HD too ...

N.O.V.A

How is the N.O.V.A. app that came pre-installed listed? I cant seem to find it in the system dump app list. Some how I have lost the game and I would like to get it back.

If you go to the gameloft site on your device, you could download the games you previously purchased on another device.
You can even specify which device you would like to download it for.
Just scroll to the bottom of the page where it has your device listed and change it.

use nova 2 nova stays small on bionic ... where as im using nova 2 just fine

N.O.V.A (the first game) is not available for Droid Bionic.
According to their website, the only Gameloft games compatible with Droid Bionic are:
Asphalt 6 Adrenaline HD
Dungeon Hunter 2 HD
N.O.V.A. 2 HD
Spider-man: Total Mayhem HD
The Oregon Trail HD
UNO HD
Forget that Let's Golf 2 is pre-loaded and Asphalt 5 / UNO HD are available through Android Market.

That's odd. Not showing up in the market on my Bionic.

With the exception of Uno, you have to buy directly from Gameloft.com. They force you to repurchase your games everyone you switch handsets.

Go to gameloft from your browser.
It should load the wap site.
Go to my downloads at the bottom and log in to re-download it for that phone.

I want games on my ds7 but what tablet.version apk should I use to play them? Like a galaxy tab apk or LG g2x an so on which apk's display an play well on Dell streak 7? Anyone with any information would be great

Look in the games and apps section I have a thread on order and chaos and there's another thread on other Gameloft games. I bought MM last night but it was acting crazy. So once I figure out thatproblem ill let yall know. Oh yeah Green farm and block breaker work our streaks now also. Just make sure you click on the LG 2x OPTIMUS STAR DOP as your device. Youll see more on it in the threads in streaks games and themes thread.

And I'm bored....

I was really fired up about getting my N7. I got it, rooted it, flashed it, bricked it, fixed it, flashed it, and then loaded it with all of the best games and every emulator… 2 days later I’m now bored and have no use for it no more than my android phone… I might try running a virtual PC but…I’m a little sad I lost interest this quickly. What is everyone else using their tablets for that keeps them from collecting dust?

I use mine all the time for gaming, Web browsing, splash top, wifi remote control, browsing forums, news, entertaining my 2 year old, navigation, banking and managing all my rss download feeds on u torrent, I am sure there is more I do I am not thinking of too

If you truly loaded up the tablet with the best games you would still be playing them and wouldn't be bored after 2 days.

u could always get a comic book or ebook reader and read some stuff idk.

I bought mine primarily to replace my older Kindle so I could get books and magazines with photos that the Kindle sucks at. I like playing Angry Birds on it, but do that mostly on my phone. I also fly my AR Drone with it. I didn't buy it to be using it all day.

I just keep trying the different emulators now for gaming but i dont spend a lot of time with the tablet in my hand at all

For me it's mostly the form factor. Browsing the web, reading text, etc. is very, very nice on a 7" screen and many games just look better and play better as well. Plus I love the fact that I can install Ubuntu naively on it and basically use it as a laptop replacement if I need to.

I actually expected that to happen with me. It didn't. My 7 pretty much replaced my laptop and took half the load off my phone. I never thought I'd like a tablet but ended up pleasantly surprised.

I use mine for the same reasons others have posted here, but I also have been tinkering with integrating my nexus into my (rather crude) home automation system driven by arduino. With an arduino, tasker, a bit of tinkering and programming, I'm able to open/close my garage door and control my lights with tasker using voice commands or tasker widgets on my home screen.
I have been an iPhone and ipad guy since they came out years ago and recently switched all of my devices over to nexus ones and can't be happier with the openness. When I do get a bit bored with it, I try to come up with an idea to use my nexus to make my life easier and hopefully learn something new along the way.
Good luck with your quest. And by the way, if any one is interested, I can probably throw up a tutorial describing how I achieved this.

As far as I'm concerned my phone is for when I leave the house, while my tablet is for everything else. If you're bored, then it's not the fault of the device, it just means that you don't have enough interesting content on it.

I have a nexus 7, it has a good purpose.
My computers purpose is to run high end software such as 3ds max and the adobe design suite, as well as a bunch of games.
My laptops purpose is to sit in my room until i buy it a new power cord, then its purpose is to be sold, or something...
My phones purpose is to text and call people, and when i dont have my tablet on me its so i can play games and sketch.
My tablets purpose is so i can browse the web, read books, play games i dont on the computer, and to be a digital sketchpad until i can afford a medium intuos 5.
Bored with your tablet? Find a purpose for it such as netflix, reading books, sketching, incessantly flashing software until you break it, etc.
