I installed verygreen's CM10.1 native emmc install without replacing the internal recovery. It works well but I found sth wrong.
1. Sometimes the wallpaper cannot be full screen after changing from landscape mode to portrait mode.
2. For the lock screen sider shortcut, I cannot do any modification in the setting and for the phone and sms icon, when I move to them, it says error.
Are they my own issues?
Thanks very much!

I think ever since CM nightly 37, my lockscreen is gone. No matter whether it's waking up from sleep, or reboot, my nook color never asked for password and anyone can access it!
I went to the setting -> location & security, the screen unlock option is still "change screen lock". Upon clicking it, I need to input my old password to change to a new one. However this is the only place that it asks me for password.
I tried disable password, then enable. No help.
I tried changing lockscreen setting in CM settings, no help either.
I'm running on CM7 stable now, and the problem is still there. Please help! I can't leave my nook color unprotected.
FYI, I used ROM manager for all ROM updates. The screenlock worked before.
It's a Tablet Tweaks setting, on by default.
Settings -> CyanogenMod settings -> Tablet tweaks -> Disable Lockscreen
Thanks. The lock screen appeared! However, it's at an unusual size, as large as a phone's screen. As a result I couldn't see half of the keyboard to input my full password. Is there a way to have a larger lock screen? Is it the set lcd density trick?

That I don't know. I've never tried adding a password lock, only using the various sliders/rotates on the lock screen.
go to spare parts, unclick compatibility mode

Cool. That solved it.
FYI, it was unselected. So I selected it, unselected, then reboot, then bingo!

I had the same lock-screen issue once I enabled it on CM7 stable. I simply rebooted and it fixed it.
I was wondering if there is any way to change the unlock screen orientation to landscape. I am using CM7 and it has sometimes shown an unlock screen in landscape mode for half of a second before switching back to landscape. I would like to get it to stay in landscape if it is possible.
Edit: Solved WidgetLocker Lockscreen in the market has an option for this...
I am running cyanogenmod 7.03 on my Nook Color. I recently disabled the cyanogen settings / tablet specific / disable lockscreen option. I then enabled a pin based lockscreen.
PROBLEM: Now I can no longer unlock my nook color. Why? Because the buttons on the lockscreen are too large, get cropped off by the lockscreen, and I can't see the numbers I need to push.
What can I do to fix this? Please tell me my nook isn't bricked now.
eMMC or SD install?
If the former, you can (as a matter of last resort) wipe /data in CWM, but of course you'll lose _all_ configuration. I can't honestly think of a less intrusive way, unless you can somehow intercept the lockscreen before it has a chance to lock on boot.

Can you remote install a "no lock" app from the online market? I haven't used one to know if you have to select it or not but worth a try.
Only other suggestion is adb pull the build prop and change the lcd density to a smaller number like 140 to see if the lockscreen displays properly, turn off the pass lock then change the lcd density back.
The tablet was frozen, so I couldn't reboot it until the battery ran out completely and I recharged it. Fortunately, after that happened, suddenly the lockscreen size was normal and I could push the buttons again, yay!
Thanks for the helpful suggestions anyways guys.
I had the same issue but a hard reboot would solve the problem.
I'm experiencing some strange behaviors on my Note 5 that I can't find mentions of anywhere else on the web. The bugs are minor and pretty much everything else works, but it's still quite annoying that I can't find a way to fix these issues. Do any of you know what is causing these problems?
Firstly, when I go into split screen mode I don't have that white circle that lets me adjust the sizes of the two screens. I get that circle in pop-up mode, just not in split-screen mode. Why would this be? I can't find any item in the settings menu related to split screen mode so what happened?
Secondly, I can set my phone to auto-rotate and turn the phone to landscape, but the moment I try to lock the orientation the phone turns itself back into portrait. I'm not just talking about the launcher; no matter what app is in the foreground, I can't lock the phone to landscape unless the app forces the phone into landscape in the first place. Again, I can't find any item in the settings menu related to orientation locking.
Bump?
In regards to the orientation issue, I know the quick toggle only has portrait and auto-rotate as it's two options. I don' t think it's a true rotation lock setting.
Does anyone know anything about the multitasking circle, or is that too not a feature in the first place? (I'm pretty sure I saw screenshots with the white circle present though)
Hi. My Magazine Unlock is not working properly. I set it in Themes and it shows as marked in Settings-Screen lock & passwords-Screen lock style so should be working fine. Despite that it doesn't show any photos on lock screen and there are no controls when I swipe from the bottom of lock screen (I mean play, next and so on).
I tried to put some photos manually into MagazineUnlock folder on internal memory but they don't appear on lock screen. Anyone knows how to make it work again and update the photos?
I've recently updated to EVA-L09C432B170 via dload method. May that be the cause?
Same issue here.
After flashing via dload method (and even back to the old firmware) I lost magazine unlock.
Have also tried downloading the stock themes and selecting them, but even though it says selected under Settings, lock screen remains the same static wallpaper image with no controls after swiping.
EDIT: turns out only the 'Black Label' theme enabled MagazineUnlock for me. I previously had Default(MagazineUnlock) but it didn't work, despite the name. Also needs to be under System/Theme, not just under SDCard/HWTheme
Someone knows an answer to this? I have the same problem currently and have no idea how to restore the functionality of the magazine unlock. Themes are shown in the theme manager and some even with the addition of "(Magazin unlock)", but it is not working even if selected.
mine wasnt working until i pressed this button ( the highlighted one in the pic) after that it started working again

hi. i had the same problem, had to change the theme to obsidian, then magazine unlock started working again.
What worked for me guys, is this...
When you activate your screen and keep seeing the same wallpaper (not magazine), simply DELETE the annoying wallpaper that won't change. Also make sure there is no "Lock" on the padlock on bottom left corner.
Hope this makes sense and helps someone from going crazy trying to figure it out
