Now I'm running the Nordic version. 253 with R5A and 3 days ago I was on. 253 R4A and so fare as I can see, there no difference in pre installed apps, the only difference I see is in browser and bookmarks in this Nordic version is newspaper from Norway, Sweden and Denmark
In the danish R4A is nothing at all
But thanks for the answer

Could you do me a quick favor and check what baseband you have?
Is it 9x15A-ACEFWMAZQ-30110041-23?

Hi All,
I have had 2 versions of the Xperia z.
1st one I had was an Australian Vodafone version (Vodafone software) which came with chrome and the stock browser.
2nd one was an Australian unbranded version which only comes with chrome only.
I would like to install the stock android browser and is it possible.
Or do I need to flash the Australian Vodafone rom which I don't really want to do.
All help will be appreciated
You should have posted in the Q/A thread, not here

Quick question..
Is it worth upgrade to operator specific 10.3.1.A.2.74 FW update and root it with the use of custom kernel or should I stay on generic unbranded .67 firmware? Any benefits of using 10.3.1.A.2.74 or..?
Is .74 available for your specific operator? if yes then it's better to upgrade due to some baseband changes. If it's not available for your specific operator then start on .64

I think 74 is for some countries only and branded only. Those countries skipped 67 and I don't think we will get that version because it's available in just three or four countries.

The .74 is 3 Denmark exclusive, but someone said that this one gives better battery life than generic unbranded .67 FW, thanks to newer baseband. Hmm ..

I have T-Mobile Netherlands and also received the update

To bad that every deodex-method out there doesn't work at all, otherwise I would stay on this FW (after deodexing and some rooting / de-bloating/tweaking) and try it a little, for some testing and see if it is better than generic unbranded .67 FW!

well, if you bought it from amazon, chances are that previous owners had flashed a ROM, which is official for Korea.
I'm from Bulgaria, but am currently using a XEC ROM (which is not BG) and all is working fine, so no need to worry about it if your phone is functioning as it should be

Hi all, I have the stock 4.4.2 HK .233 firmware for now, it's possible to change the baseband by flashing it through flashtool? If yes what do I have to select when flashing?
Thanks in advance

Simply NO!
You may get bootloop and 89% chance you will get missing IMEI number and no signal

Italy Cell Phone Frequencies:
Carrier 900MHz 1800MHz
Telecom Italia SpA (TIM) Yes Yes
Vodafone Omnitel N.V. Yes Yes
Wind Telecomunicazioni Yes Yes
The bands are already supported by Z 6603 (2G,3G & 4G included)
I Dont see any need to flash baseband
Ok, thanks
