[Apk] Shutter Sound Off Lg 970 V30B

Download CameraApp.apk. Do not install, just replace
Copy to sdcard
Using rootexplorer
navigate to the root \ system \ app to rename original CameraApp.apk to CameraApp.old
past new CameraApp.apk
Open the camera in settings, the camera sound, select the tone number four (Off)
Test in v30B

Camera app gone after i copy to /system/app i forgot to rename the stock app. How can i fix it? Restart phone does not help
Edit:
I have found it there is no off sound chose tone 4 and sound not appear

Rename stock is only for backup. Tone 4 is off, no sound.
I edited all languages ​​except for some three that failed.

Yes. There are two as far as I know,
n00by's repack (odexed) and Marvel v D (deodexed & zipalaigned)

Where can i find the silent camera .apk for Marvel V D ???

because this silent camera apk is odexed. That's why I ask OP to also mod the deodexed version

Custom boot sound

Bored of the generic boot loader sound?
Got a clipped sound file you want to use?
Phone rooted? Got a file explorer?
The sound file needs to be converted to .ogg, i have found a site "media.io", upload your sound file and convert to .ogg.
Once downloaded copy to your SDCard, and then using the rooted file explorer move to /system/etc
Reboot, shzaam

Is this true? Have you test it?

Stock JB browser from the network Roms

Here's a working Deodexed Browser.apk from the ThreeUK build.
the sim-free xZ come with Chrome as default,
some people prefer the normal android browser (I Like both, so use this and chrome beta )
it does have some features that chrome doesn't such as full-screen and quick-controls.
to install : You will need ROOT !
on an unbranded rom, you will need to remove
system/app/chrome.apk
system/app/BrowserProviderProxy.apk
Possibly remove
data/app/Chrome apk
data/data/com.android.browser.provider
otherwise you could get issues with conflicting package names.
then push this to system/app and chmod to 644
Appears you need chromebookmarksyncadaptor as well to get synced bookmarks

copy the browser.apk in root explorer to system/app/ and set the correct permissions to the same as the other files in there rw-r--r- (or 644 as a code) :silly:

on an unbranded rom, you will need to remove
system/app/chrome.apk
system/app/BrowserProviderProxy.apk => renamed
Possibly remove
data/app/Chrome apk
data/data/com.android.browser.provider => renamed

Hi, i have try to install this browser in my xperiaZ but don't work.
So i have a firmware stock (.434) with root permission.
I have remove the file: "Chrome.apk" and "BrowserProviderProxy.apk" from /system/app
after i have remove: "com.android.chrome-2.apk" from /data/app and the folder "com.android.browser.provider" from /data/data
I have copy with root explorer the file "Browser.apk" in /system/app and i have setting permission with -rw-r--r--
But now if i try to install the browser the system tell me an error: "Application not installed" and if i go to drawer i don't see anything...
Please halp me e sorry for my orrible english....i'm italian LOL :laugh:

I have resolved...i have installed a stock rom deodexed that is here in the forum...
I have installed with flashtool and after with this operation for browser it's work correctly...i think that the problem is on odex rom!

Gyroscope for VR

Hi guys if anybody wants to enable the gyroscope here is a little guide to enable it
You must
1. rooted
2. on 6.0 marshmallow
Go to this download link and download https://mega.nz/#!pEEGFLbJ!scUWYUCZ_uGM7TyaaJPu7O8YfVgnk4DyCT7jSWCW35E
Then use root explorer and navigate to /system/etc/permissions and place the xml file inside with permissions of rw-r--r-- (0644) once changed, reboot then gyroscope should be enabled.
I dont want or take any credit for this post or guide as I found the details and links on here.

Just put that file in correct directory, then select properties of file and set permission to 644, save.

I cant even put the file inthe permissions map, when i try, it says something like "this map is a read only map, do you want to change it to r/w" and if i click yes it says "operation failed"

just copy it to /system/etc/permissions directory with root explorer or total commander. You must give root permission to that app! check it!

If you would've read carefully on @sokkoban's Thread, You could see that he fixed Gyroscope for v2.0, so no need for you to do it anymore.

Could you share the fixed gyroscope for stock rom?

There is no fixed gyroscope drivers, only that one in the beginning of thread.

if I enable this I can watch 360 photos on facebook? I cand watch 360 videos on youtube but not photos

work good no root and root small bug if you do not remember uninstall deactivate some application system app do some do install update style no problem :good::good::good:

@iqbal_sareem The APK files seem to be missing in most of the folders [both APP and PRIV-APP]. Only 'OAT' folder is present and no APK. Am I missing something here?
