The headphone plug seems to have something buried In it. Any recommendations on how I would go about getting it out.

Anyone else's headphone jack weird? Some of my earbuds don't get sound at all, you have to move then around to find the sweet spot.
Also, if you move them ever so slightly, it looses connection.

Mine seats fine. I have the Amaze beats headphones, Sol Republic Tracks HD and the Shure SE215. They all seat fine and sound fine.
Only one of my headphones work OK.

Oh, nevermind, I needed a lot of force to get it in the jack all the way, I thought it was in all the way.
I was scared I would break it. -_-

Check out Pimp My ROM app on the Play Store, it does well on my AHD. Original xda link posted. All you need is a rooted phone

Very nice find. Works great on my Atrix as well. Noticeably better performance and signal and it seems like my battery life has further improved (didn't think that was possible).

Activate init.d support and match your settings with mine. Could be others that are useful but this is what I have selected.

Does anyone have any issues with the headphone jack? I know it's not my headphones because they work fine with everything else, but I have to find an exact "sweet spot" to use them on my phone.

Same here, I think we just have bad audio jacks.

Yeah I read online that it's actually several Motorola phones, oh well, I guess I'll just have to go bluetooth.

Just got this in from eBay. Any ideas? It worked fine at first, then it hit low battery and started this. Even while on the charger. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7leg144F7-Y&feature=youtube_gdata_player
Problem solved. MicroUSB loose.

I got an atrix hd that looks like new. The problem is that it does not power up. The green light comes on when plunged into a charger. The battery is good. Just wondering if anyone knows any tricks that might get it to turn on. I did try holding the different combination of buttons down but no luck.

I would pull it apart and verify the battery is actually on there correctly, my buddy bought one that had the battery terminals ripped off due to someone failing a repair.

Well I took the battery out and charged it in another atrix HD and the battery took a charge. I put it back into the one that does not power up and no luck trying to power it up.

When it is plugged in the PC the PC makes a noise like it knows a device is plugged in.

My buddy ebayed one that did just this with a good battery, charged it but the motherboard was just dead. we couldn't get it to boot at all. I hope that is not the case for you.
Well if that is the case I guess I will look for one that works but has a broken screen. That way I can change the good parts in the one I have to get it up and going, it's just to bad this phone looks like new.

Just wondering if there is a for sale section. Wondering if someone has a Matrix HD with a broken digitizer and LCD they want to shed for cheep that way I can make a good one out of the two.
