Yes i did make a factory reset with TWRP recovery but still having the same problem. You can see the white folder they are empty with no pics and cant find them in picasa website or in my S4. Don't know if its a third party app issue or is it HTC. Guys Pleas help me sort this problem. I love my HTC One but cant use it without picasa albums.

So I loaded Serendipity today. Master cleared and everything. So I was really surprised to find old pictures on my phone when I opened the gallery app. And strangely it wouldn't let me delete them. Hmm. So I looked in the sd folders, dcim etc. Cannot find these pics anywhere! The gallery app did tell me the file names So I loaded up root explorer and ran a search... NOTHING!
These pics show in my gallery but I can't find the files anywhere. Where are they hiding?

Went into the stetting, manage applications, to the gallery app and hit clear data, and these strange photos vanished! Still don't know where they were. but they are gone now. Would loveto hear where they were stored if anyone knows...
Spoke too soon! So after a reboot, the folder of pics comes back! If I clear the gallery app's data, it vanishes again, but returns after every reboot. Can anyone help with this?
Is it a stack of thumbnails (separate folder path) or viewable image files? If you have external SD maybe browse it on a PC.
It still there with no external SD, and I can't find it from the PC or root explorer.
You, know, I have a blog, and these all seem to be photos on my blog. And blogger seems to be hooked to Picasa Web albums. So I'm thinking Gallery pulls pulls the contents of my Picasa Web album down to the phone... could this be? Can it be stopped?

If you have them linked then yes that is where they are comming from and why they keep comming back. The only way to stop it would be to but a no media file in the target folder, back draw is that the file will hide it from all Android apps that look for media
Hi everyone; wondering if anybody else is experiencing this problem (if it's even a problem, I'm not sure).
As far as I know, when I go into my stock Gallery app and navigate to my PicasaWeb folder, I should be able to view any videos I have in my PicasaWeb; I can see the different folders I have in there, but when I go into a folder, none of the videos actually show up. I know I have several videos in two separate folders, and I can access them normally through the web interface as well as Google+. Is there something I can do to be able to play my PicasaWeb videos through the stock Gallery app?
Any information provided would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks very much,
-GB

Just confirming that I dont' have my videos in Gallery via PicasaWeb either. This probably has something to do with the fact that you can't download videos that you've uploaded from PicasaWeb. I think that's what the gallery does, is downloads available content, and since videos aren't actually available for download, they don't show as an option to view
Slideshow feature is missing in Gallery for Picasa Web Album after ICS 4.0.4 Update in my 7310. I was able to run slideshow of Picasa Web Album in Gallery earlier in HC 3.2. I have synced all the Google Account including Picasa Web Album. I am able to view all the picasa web albums in Gallery. Slideshow is working only for Downloads, Camera, Screen Capture but not for Picasa Web Almums.
Please suggest how to fix or to make it work. Is there any free apps which will do this. Thanks.

I have Googled your problem, and there are several Motorola Xoom forums that claim the sync was removed from ICS. Others in the forum report they can sync again after installing Google+ (going back from Google+, is not a real option after that).
There was even someone who installed an older version of the Galary app, he needed to flash it by zip (lost his camera function and installed ICS Camera).
You could try the Google+ option, if not rooted. But check the forum first for more info:

Hi djcasal, Thanks for your efforts. My only problem is that Slideshow Feature is not available only for Picasa Webalbums. Otherwise I am able to sync to Picasa, Google+. This feature was disabled only after ICS 4.0.4 update whereas it was available in HC 3.2. I have one throught the links provided by you but so far no fix reported.
I've been searching for awhile but no luck...I don't want to use htc share and send my stuff to the cloud/htc site. I watched a video on the htc site saying how you can use sync manager to watch a zoe on computer using sync manager. I synced my phone with comp....In the zoe folders I created it is straight up 3 second videos and still pictures. In sync manager I click on a gallery than albums and click the play button and sync manager crashes and reloads. My computer detects HTC android device fine and the drivers successfully loaded. Has anyone been able to do this?

now that you've synced everything through htc sync look in your documents folder you should see a folder named "htc"
in that folder your see pictures/dcim and you can view your zoe photos and video in windows. No need to use htc sync
I've done that and just see standard pictures and videos...I'll just share it to dropbox and do it like that..I thought I was overlooking something very simple, doesn't seem that way

If you're talking about the highlight reel it creates when you make a zoe hit menu and click save, it will export to a mp4 in the video highlights folder under sdcard

Lol, I knew it was something simple. Been on a trip so didn't have that much time to look into it. I'll probably stick with dropbox, but def good to know. Thanks for reply!
Mods, please close thread. Thanks
does anyone have their Picasa Web Albums showing in the stock Gallery App? I was able to see them on all of my prior devices (both stock and custom ROMs, including KitKat). I do see the "photos" app, which has them, but I prefer they were in the gallery app.
thanks!
Picasa is dead isn't it? It's now Google Photos.

I'm not entirely sure what you're asking, but I'l take a stab at it.
I used to have some Picasa albums, which were eventually merged into Google Drive. No matter what phone I have, they always seem to appear in my gallery app. Somehow, all of my Picasa albums were merged into Google Plus. To access them, you can navigate to picasaweb.google.com/
They show up in my stock gallery app, and I didn't change any settings to make that happen.
I hope that helps.
