[Q] Does Gallery supports png transparency?

Hi,
Does Gingerbread Gallery supports png transparent images? each png image with transparent background has black background
So when I load an image to a contact, this has black background too

Can anyone tell me the png icon name in framework-res.apk of the grey bar that says general,incoming calls,notifications in this attachment screenshot

Hi, i have a Clear View Cover and when i close it i can see a white clock on dark blue background; is it possible to mod some system file to have black background so only numbers are visible?
