can a G1 play videos from google video? I tried a couple but no success. we all know that the phone can play yourtube videos just fine, so I was wondering what's the different between videos on youtube and video on google? aren't they both streaming videos?
i think when google bought over youtube, they moved all the videos from google video to youtube.

I would like to know how can i play HD videos on youtube like on a normal PC where we can choose to play 720p videos on youtube instead of 360p..I know there is this HQ button but the quality is still very bad..
Not sure how to do it with the andriod app but I open youtube with the browser as a desktop site so I can play it at 720p

I m unable to watch online videos...many app like KMP Tv..live tv free..tv live.. cannot play any video..always error like "this video cant be played."
but on official rom(where i will not returning again) i was able to play them..in browser i can youtube is working..and another app incoming tv was also working..but many are nt..halp.

Ok now I have flash players...three things
1. I Was able to play metacafe on stock browser
2. I didnt checked before flash player abut metacafe
3. still cant play thoes videos
is this video player problem..when i click..buffer sign appears for 0.5 to 1 sec..then black screen...then error message..
but i have downloaded mx player and set it as default for network from its own setting..as when i play the video directly that player appears, without asking about any default app, open with, like that..so after setting mx player to default..again the same player load..just saying
