PIMP MY ROM has been tested on the p999 but not on the p990 so if you tested it and is working, DONT FORGET TO GIVE FEEDBACK HERE WITH ROM NAME, BUILD NUMBER etc, so i can add it here

Did this a time ago but to me it seems that Pimp My Rom isn't working, but when I flash a new Rom I will test it again and report.

It should work but it contains repeated tweaks (with different settings) and some errors... Other than that it contains also tweaks for motorola phone and others...

posible not to be working on GB based roms, so most CM7 or gingerbread roms wont load the installer

No!... Instal with Aroma works fine, but after restart it don't see any new on desktop!

I've used the pack, it works for me and i've enabled pretty much every option except for the hardware acceleration ones.

Works fine on Tonyp's CM10 Paranoid Android.

Works good To me on gueste 3.8ext3... but an unknown tweak or option That i choose makes. Me unable to 3g or another Data connection diferent than Edge.

Testing on Paranoid android 2.23 by Tony and It boot, see how it goes

Did not work in cm7.2 nightlies.stuck at LG logo. phone did not boot.

hmm, i also tried it on tonyp's PA CM10 and enabled almost everything except hw acceleration, but my phone was very sluggish afterwards. in addition, i had several reboots. maybe it does not work well together with harsh's kernel, i am using the latest one. might give it another try when i have more time, but for the moment i removed all the tweaks again.
nevertheless a quite fancy tool!

Since it is based on CM10. I'd assume it is the old Gingerbread Partition.

Hopefully not, but I guess the rom has it.

The zip does not flash. I get Status 7 error about build.prop or whatever.

This is a port bkjolly has been doing from
the PACMan rom he in no way developed this rom
he ported it to work with this specific device with
the help of Dhacker and Hashcode.
All credit for the rom is the PACMan devs alone.
As well as this thread if you look at the bottom of the page you will find
the OP that was created at xda and this was copied from.

After months of work, the long awaited PACman 4.2 rom is ready for public
released. This is still work in progress WIP and there are many missing
parts. Though the rom is rock stable for average users. We are working
on it daily to fill the missing parts.
Now what is PACman? The idea was to remove the need for a hunt of rom and
cure flasholicsm by providing everything xda has in rom development in a
single bloat free rock stable rom. This is the FIRST rom of its kind
with a hybrid framework consisting on cm10.1, AOKP and AOSPA. What makes

If this is 4.2.2, then I assume that the normal issues apply, like video recording, etc? At least until Hashcode finishes the new kernel?

That's correct. Most everything is working fine, no camcorder though, like you said.

Cool. When Hash's kernel is ready, will that stuff start working, or will an updated ROM be needed?

Should just be able to flash the kernel. But I don't know that for sure. Even if it requires a new build it shouldn't be an issue. Bk keeps his ROMs pretty up to date.

Hi i was pumped to try this ROM, i currently have AOKP 4.2.2 installed . I followed the instructions as given but i am unable to install the rom
I downloaded this ZIP vanquishgsm_PAC_JB_4.2.2-v22.2.0_20130513-142539.zip and every time time i try i get the Status 7 Error and installation is aborted, any suggestions on how to fix this

Like in your other thread, sounds like a bad download as long as you are unlocked and using twrp or cwm.

If this ROM contains a modem could somebody please extract it and upload it. I don't have enough data to download the whole ROM just for a file no bigger than 10mb....

I was trying to open Google news on both those roms and it takes me to the desktop version of the site..anything can be done to fix this?

This is very strange you post. You say that this all bloated original Samsung firmware gives you better battery performance then cleaned and tuned Wanamlite 7.1 based in this official base ?

true story, I use megawipe before flashing any rom and then I turn off everything I don't need (about 35 apps/services), am a big fan of Wanam's roms but V7.1 is awful, the battery was draining rapidly and recharging takes forever , whereas on this room, although its bloated which is not a big problem except for the wasted space, the battery is excellent...actually, I feel that the battery on this rom is better than CM 10.1.

Bluetooth Audio Streaming
Does Any one know if Bluetooth Audio Streaming is fixed on this ROM.
My Bluetooth Audio Keeps cutting out on all Sammy's 4.2.2 Rom, stock or Custom.
However this problem is not the on CM10 or AOSP or 4.1.2
please let me know so i can start download. As i don't want to waste my data.

How is the incall sound in the rom? Because with cm10.1 based roms it was unclear somethimes

Hi.
Using this FW about one week, but i did get it at another forum...and installation is made by Recovery...no Odin...
Anyway:
AMAZING ROM so good that im loving it! Also, i did intall Camera of S4 with Sphere mode...orgiastic!
Battery is also great, i can almost compare to Sentinel Rom....
Everything works great! I highly advice this stuff!

EDIT: I tried it and its cool, had no signal but this is definitely an awesome project to arrive on the GS5.
