[Q] Dual Boot Samsung Galaxy Mini

How do I dual boot (with two different roms) a Samsung Galaxy Mini GS-5570

This is still a dream..
If it was possible, there should have been a lot of links for this by now..
Maybe someone might be able to do it in the near future..

ahh yes it is possible.. sorry.. but no one has done it yet.. it has to do something with the kernel loop thing..

if it can be done then the sytem rom's size should be atleast 700 mb to hold the both rom and we dont have this size, when a company create the dvice it give merely 60 mb extra space to the rom for future update

That is also why I'm considering. Where the ROMs can be placed. Our ROM memory is too low to be able to contain 2 custom ROMs.

Boot manager can install 1 Tom on phone and other 5(!!!) in sdcard.I tried on Samsung Galaxymini, but it fails.

we are nt installing two galaxy mini we are installing roms in our sdcard
i have tried it on my captivate but failed. also i have founded a way to check for sdcard block
type mount in terminal emulator and check for sdcard line you will get the block

I tried to install the rum of Assadi Card cm 7.2.0 it started to format my device I have seen 20% and then I got nervous because I thought the device is format forever so I got out the battery and now he's stuck on the screen of the start and did not turn on at all please help me!!! !!!!!! What to do
And I have a year warranty from Samsung Please help me!!! I do not know what to do!

I have not heard of this cm7 for the mini.. where did you get it? Please remember, do not flash roms that are not for the mini.. just follow the instructions above and flash firmware via odin.

yes, you can go to a samsung point but if the phone go in download and recovery mode..in 90% of cases you can solve at home

Maybe samsung guys will help.
Basically the tech. guys in service center are just as much knowledgeable as us. So if u flash the stock ROM, Atleast in India u can get ur mini serviced
Apart from that flash the stock ROM via ODIN, its easy and may solve your problem.

Yeah they will solve ur problem... !!! but have u rooted ur device.. ??
If yes then unroot ur device ...

Check for superuser app if it not there u are not root or u have uninstalled it

Rooted phone is not under warranty...if u install a unofficial cm7 ihink its pre-rooted...flash any stock firmware VIA odin.

Samsung galaxy Ace S5380i

I have looked at a few threads already but nothing seems to be working, i have a s5380i i have followed a tutorial on this site but it didnt work for this device now its stuck on the boot screen i can acess 3e recovery and download mode. however when i try to use odin 4.38 (multidownloader) it is not recognizing the phone.
please could someone. give me clear concise instructions.
i cant seem to make sense of this phone.
i havent had any problems with my s2 , or n7000 before and im stumped please help

e: no such file or directory..
stuck on boot screen on boot.
multilauncher odin will not recognize the phone .
odin v1.85 will recognize..
S5830iXXLD3_S5830iBTULC1_S5830iXXLD2_HOME.tar << this is supposed to be the firmware for the ace what do i do with it. i will never try to put a rom on for a friend again.

I dont have a S-5830i :| This is what other users are telling..Bluetooth,and some calling problems i think,don't remember.

Flash with Odin.Search Youtube,the steps are same,only your files are different.

Firstly you have to setup KİES on your Pc ;
You need Odin which is compatible for your mobile device , OPS file and Offical ROM ( from samfirmware ).
Be careful for 5830i selections because your for is very different from 5830.
Don't download any other rom from 5830i.
Just google pls.

Lol...Kies thing,its because Kies started,it would have worked if its process was not running in the bg.

[Q] My Samsung Galaxy Ace shut down... :(

Alright, so basically...I installed a new ROM on my phone (Samsung Galaxy Ace GT-S5830). After I installed the ROM, it said Installation complete and then I rebooted my phone to use it and test it. But instead, my phone decided not to turn on AT ALL. I can't go into recovery mode, or download mode or ANYTHING. My phone just won't turn on...
Does ANYONE know what I can do to fix it? :/

Are you sure that you have GT-S5830 and not the GT-S5830i model? That may be the cause of the problem.

No, my phone isn't GT-S55830i. I'm more than 100% sure.

Which rom did you try? And what steps did you take?

The name of the ROM is "MindCr v2.4"
I just installed it like any normal ROM, copy it to my SD card, and then flash it using the latest version of ClockworkMod.
I think that ROM is for GT-S5830i :/

You can't flash the roms of s5830i on s5830. That is what has caused all the problem. Also use cwm 5.0.2.6
Coming to your problem, there's a thread to unbrick your ace which tells you, how you can get odin to recognize it. Use search to find it. All the best !!! Hope your ace is revived.

Try the trick first. If it doesn't work, I'll try to sort out. If I'm not successful, go to the service centre.

i have a galaxy mini s5570 , yesterday i flashed this rom http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1551586 when it was on froyo 2.2.1 (i didnt see warning)
now the phone power on but have no boot logo and no downloading mode , what shoud i do? please help me that was not my phone

Did you flash it from stock recovery? If yes, download mode MUST work. It's volume down+home+power. I guess you just didn't get the combo right.

I did the same thing 3yrs ago. The only solution is to give it in Samsung service center. You have gingerbread with froyo bootloader.
Obviously won't boot.
Edit: if you live in india and want jtag service contact this guy Bhargav97.
