Galaxy s kernel question

Hi to all...i have darky's v8 rom installed and it's awesome!!but I would like to overclock my device and I'll need to swich to another kernel...can I just flash the new kernel over my rom or doi need to anythinh else before I do that??any help appreciated!!!

Make sure lag fix is disabled and the kernel supports JPY rom

Fast sgs roms?

Hello there
Does anybody know a fast rom for gaming on the galaxy s?
I'm running android 4.0.4 cm9, i dont mind downgrading to a lower firmware like 4.0.3.

Tiramislim ..... it is built on slim rom....with semaphore kernel.... u can also try elite rom....

Best ROM?

Hey guys, I'm new to the ace.
Just wondering, what is the best and most stable ROM on the Galaxy Ace currently.
I am on Stock rom right now and need to find the most popular/stable/fast ROM.

If you are looking for stable, ICS is not meant for you. Just go for Apocalypse ROM for CM7 or for stock you got Stocklite and Myth2. Use search button

just adding that there is no "Best"

Use a stock GB rom for stability

For stability, looks n xtra functions I would suggest Koogly's-Mokee rom based on apocalypse!!!!!!
N yes there's nothing like best everyone has got his own preferences!!!!!!

If your looking for a good ics rom I highly recommend going on to maclaw.pl and having a look at their stuff

There is only one ics rom for ace which is cm9 from maclaw. Others are just ics themed.
