Those processes are normal. You use GO SMS and that is apparantly an app with alot of processes to run. Other than that, these are all normal dont worry, also if your phone is out of ram im sure LMK will kick in

Tnx. what do u mean by LMK? Is it an app?
LMK stands for Low Memory Killer; when Android has low memory it wil kill some processes to clear some RAM up.
Hey! Using lots of stuffs? Use Greenify app form market it helps in killing unwanted background apps..

Guys, I got 2 new Samsung oem batteries and they have crap life cycle like my old oem battery. Does this have to do with the battery, calibration or what I have installed?
I'm using stock rooted 4.0.4 with hydracore kernel. I have a lot of apps installed, but running in the background is almost 0. Anything to do with services running. How can I analyze what's screwing my battery life like that.
Sent from my GT-N7000 using xda app-developers app
Battery calibration doesnt increase your battery life
It just improves the accuracy of the displayed battery percentage
Use "betterbatterystats" app and you can find out the apps causing battery drain
also cpu spy can tell u if u r phone goes to deep sleep mode

What does this tell you?

There might be some app causing your phone not getting into deep sleep
Install betterbatterystats to find it out
But how can your battery be 96% without getting into deep sleep through out the night
If you keep your phone in charging,i think it will not enter into deep sleep
take a screenshot of the battery section in the phone
settings> battery> "click on the graph..
i huess it was put into charging

also make sure that oem battery is 100% original. They may look the same, but the devil is in the details
Is there any method by which i can define my startup android processes on stock rom. There are so many services that i dont use but they are constantly running like i dont use hotmai or gmail app instead i use the stock email app and hs merged my accounts. So beside uninstalling them i want to limit all such messengers and other apps.
Sent from my GT-N7000 using xda app-developers app
You can freeze them using TB or use autostarts or Rom toolbox's auto start manager to disable the receivers which will stop the apps from starting on boot and various other criterias

Well i bet tizen would be having that feature and you will be the first to switch. You people were among those who boast about and show loyalty to symbian and were the first to switch to android. So its not advicable to negatively propogate about the upcoming stuff without evidence.
I am an optimist and will always be.

That would be nice. And if they're able to be edited.

Whom wouldn't love to have toggles?
Been trying to get your rom on this phone for a week now. Either I end up having to download a newer version every time I'm about to flash or have to do an internal clean up before.
But this tweak would certainly make me do the jump even from the office's chair

Best notification app ever!
I personally don't like stock toggles because they don't have enough options and customization. I love Notification Toggle app because there are theme options and you can even put shortcuts to apps!
I like the customization features on Power Toggles
Wasn't this free or something?
It went perfectly with my new homescreen theme...

I also face this problem of excessive ram usage sometimes, then I restart my phone and kill the apps in task manager, then it shows about 325-350 free ram. Please any expert's comment will be of great help here.

is your phone lagging due to the heavy ram usage? android automatically cleans up ram when it needs it,so if your phone isn't lagging, there isn't anything to worry about

Hi all, wanted to ask if anyone knows how to get the Data quick toggle option or if there is any app that can be used for achieving similar functionality. I can't see that option in the quick setting panel.
I tried some of the fixes from the other threads(Samsung Galaxy s6), but none worked.
Thanks

I was looking for an quick and easy toggle on/off solution like toggles for wifi, bluetooth, location, etc.
I guess the Usage Manager app shortcut would be the next best option. Thanks.
Does this help?

Yes, go to page 4 of the Galaxy s6 Active threads, there's a thread opened by me regarding how to get the Mobile Data toggle.
p. s. next time try to read/search posts first, like the rest of us
