Everything's good so far, but if someone finds out how to get the status bar at the bottom, like the first build, please do let me know. None of the paranoid settings seem to be able to. Btw, that app zoom feature thing, is pretty sweet.

Th3bill you beat me to it!! I finished a similar port lastnight based on joker's v0.7. Only problem i have is lack of lights for the capacitive buttons and i don't know how to implement olympus parts apk.
As a side note everyone, ensure that phone.apk is set to phone ui mode (240 dpi) always or you will have issues with the app not functioning correctly.

I don't take it personal. But I would highly appreciate if you deleted the NFC.apk of your /system/app folder.
N7000 doesn't support NFC.
In order to get it booted, just delete the app...
Otherwise, no boot, no fun. Bruh.

Anyone else getting a constant pop up saying nfc service has stopped working which renders me unable to do anything else?

Well.. if you would read the op.. I don't have the device.. so I didn't know it didn't support nfc.. but that's cool. I will fix and reupload later. For those who have already downloaded, just delete nfc as he stated and I will reupload later. Sorry for the inconvience...

edit- Dirty flashed (clearing system first) over build 8, got a ton of FC on the AOSP Keyboard right off the bat. Root is gone (but that was expected) but I forgot it's needed to change pixel density.
Then I did a full wipe and installed only 3.1 but I still got the FCs and no keyboard means I can't set it up at all. I'm ODIN'ing back to stock so I can get back to build 8.

WTF?

I'm a long, long, long time Carbon Rom user but I thought I would give your 4.3 build a try. Man this thing is great, Awesome job on this. I will defiantly be staying at least until Carbon's 4.3 build matches yours. Thank you for your work.

This ROM should be the official...it already perfect. The only thing is the call issue that is in every CM rom. Hope thus gets fix soon.

If you will go to the first page and read you will find a sentence that says download rom here and the here will be in blue . Sometimes you have to read.

I think he's referring to the Slim website, not the XDA thread. I clicked the download link last night and there were no files under Jfltespr. When I go there now, I can download the beta build.

Anyone know if IR is in this or does that require special builds? Seems like it's about time to make the jump to 4.3, sounds stable and no none issues... would be nice if that were to be slipped in.

IR doesn't seem to be working for me. If you want 4.3 with the IR, check out Cody's CM 10.2 Rom.

Well download the next kernel from the thread and install it with your favourite recovery. Reboot and download a build.prop editor from the playstore. Grant supersu and scroll down until you fine ro.sf.hwrotation. It should by default be set at 270. Change it to 0. Reboot. This should also solve boot animation problems.

Found a wierd bug:
If i plug in the charger, the notification sound keeps repeating. Even after unplugging.
Had to restart to kill it.
It is reproducable.

@rwaempires I only shared my experience compiling PSXv2 once..
stucked while compiling FOUR other ROMs too (if not mistaken PacMan, Liquid and two others which I don't remember).
i compiled those using Amazon EC 2 since my laptop does not have ample free HDD space :laugh:
