well in the two screenshots attavhed, your phone system storage is differently occupied. What app are you trying to download. It shouldn't be a problem.

I will suggest you to flash stock ROM using Odin with pit file. Hop it will solve the problem.

install a safe kernel first corresponding to your ROM:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1901191
once done go to recovery go to mounts and storage and wipe /system /data /preload then go down to mount USB storage while it is connected to computer and delete all the files that would appear on the computer. go back and go to wipe cache and then to advanced and wipe dalvik cache.
go to download mode, flash stock rom of any region (without pit file) and flash using pc odin.
Can you post the second screenshot again (not the same as above, new one)
Edit: above mentioned method is if you do not want to backup anything as you will lose everything.

Thanks a lot... but I can't risk losing my data.
But thanks again

Find post #2 or 3 on first line of my sign
Download any ROM(GB), preferably your region and flash using PC Odin
You may find force closes or stuck at boot, but nothing to worry. reboot in recovery and wipe cache and data.
Flash a GB rom from ur region and wipe data / dalvik and cache from recovery
thanks for the replies guys, is there any i should avoid causing the brick that affected so many people, or have all the at risk files been removed from xda forum ?

Avoid wipe / reset once you are on stock ICS kernel.
but the other guys said to wipe after i install the stick rom?
Sent from my GT-N7000 using xda app-developers app
He said you to wipe on gb rom, I advised you not to wipe on stock ics rom.
Got it?
Read post #2 what I did say
I have said same to wipe, but on gb rom only.

That was for stock Gingerbread rom, wipe on GB is safe but it is not safe on ICS. As long as you are on GB roms you can wipe without any issue. So best for you is to download stock Gingerbread firmware for your country from here and then flash it using pc odin, you will find instructions for using odin in same thread.
After flashing GB rom you may face some boot loop or other issue, so in that case just boot in stock recovery (vol up+home+power) and perform full wipe.

Hi Doc, yes it worked and transparent now, I thought it might be a bug with new launcher initially but thank you for the tip
Ya on first sight it looks like that only.

one more question while we are on the subject, once i have gone back to stock is it safe to do OTA updates and update via kies?

OTA updates.... debatable
but kies... ya definitely

[Q] why my note keep reebot when i flash rom based on stock ics or jb?

Sent from my GT-N7000 using xda premium
Just be sure you are on a safe kernel before wiping.. But every time you want to flash any rom you must wipe data/cache and Dalvik cache..
Failing to do this on a safe kernel will end up with you owning a brick
Tapatalking on my GT-N7000
Already wipe all on safe kernel..but the problem not fix..
Sent from my GT-N7000 using xda premium
Have you got a re partitioned chip? If so it's likely you can only use cm based or deodexed roms.
Sent from my GT-N7000 using xda premium
possibility... u can check the usb storage size if
> 11GB - all ok
< 9 GB - revived from a brick..
Still 11 gb

I take it you have root, run this scan to check for damage, sounds like your emmc may be in trouble:

That's your internal sd card. Perhaps unmount and remount it, you may have to format also.

Problem fix. ..im downgrade to gb...and flash back to ics...no auto reebot now..thanks all for helping
Sent from my GT-N7000 using xda premium
Don't do any wipes under ics until you're on a safe kernel. Glad you got it sorted.

You need to be rooted to get access to check .odex files. So, that method won't work. I am rooted & solved this issue as Adhityairvan mentioned..
And there are two system storage. One for system apps(around 840MB+new one-preload around 500MB).There is also 2GB for installed apps.
BTW,are you still on GB? Because you have Video maker app and I don't have it since GB or ICS.Hard reset maybe if you are on JB?

Download any cache cleaner app and clean it.... Btw, you could lose some savegame (for example, angry birds savestate)
Sent from my GT-N7000 using xda premium
Try Clean Master its free in the Play Store...
Clean Master
It can clean the Cache but also look for Residual Files that you no longer need...

Yeah, that's exactly what You have to do.
Maybe for more explanation.
Place the downloaded file on Your EXTERNAL sdcard (main folder- root folder)
1)Turn off Your phone.
2)Hold Power button+ Volume Up + Home button untill You see the Samsung N7000 logo (then release it)
3)Choose install zip from external sd card
4)Choose the downloaded file, accept.
5)Congratulations, You're done. Reboot Your phone.

The root method used in this thread only involves changing the kernel..which will not have any effect on the data.
