Stuck in loop!

I have a galaxy S
When i get to the homescreen, 10 seconds later it loops back to the intro animation (Animated S)
This does not happen if i immediatly go into airplane mode
i have found that wifi is what is causing the issue here
SO, Assuming i can only using my device an airplane mode
how can i flash a new rom?
i am rooted
clockwork is not installed.
when i get into recovery its just the stock recovery window, if i try to apply an update.zip i just get... verification failed
i have tried wiping.

So you are on complete stock? No root?
If so I would suggest pulling the battery, waiting a few minutes, replacing it and trying to boot up again. If it still loops, take it to your carrier for repair.

it was purchased second hand

No dont turn it in to repair yet first try downloading odin and do as follows (very easy way to fix it)

Edit : If u r rooted then ur vendor might not help u as rooting breaks the warrenty.

hello people I desperately need your help, I have the problem as you can see in the photo how I get away again???
I've tried it again with EFS Pro see her it works well only are the phone reboots again it all away again. even if I do it manually with root explorer it does not work out. PLEASE I need help.....
because I can not use my cell phone

flash the firmware with odin as "PHONE" again ...not as CSC or PDA...

people...please help me....my phone is deadddd......i cannot boot into download mode or anything.....i'am trying to install the stock kernel via a flashable zip, the file install succesfully but never reboot......now my phone just blank...nothing.....even when plugged in power nothing happen.....pleaseeeee helpppp....helppp.....i've taken out battery and try to power on back with 3 button but fails....

Leave the battery out for a few hours and try again.

iKlutz, is there's anything else i could do if it still doesn't boot into download mode after this? i've tred the adb reboot recovery but the phone just doesnt responding....no sound anything.....and adb devices found no device attached.....
omg....did i just kill my phone??

Make sure your battery is loaded.
You can*t boot either normal, download or recovery?

yep...battery around 60% when it happen.....i cant boot into download mode,recovery mode....phone not even detected.....

Oh,ok Take it to samsung and tell 'em it died.
btw..where did you find that zip?

im trying to flash stockkernel....but the kernel is in tar file...so i search around and found a way to make a flashable zip......however the zip file is pre-made for s3......silly me...i inserted the boot.img from s3 mini and put in the zip file......walla.....installed succesfully but never reboot.....a lesson learn today......hope its not a very expensive one.....

You should have just flashed it through odin instead, or restored boot.img from a previous made cwm backup by choosing the advanced restore option.
S3 have a different partition layout. Not even built on the same board..

Sorry to say but you should have read though the forums thoroughly before attempting this. And don't be afraid to ask mundane questions even though it's advised not to ask in development threads. I read the guides at least three times over before taking action, just to be on the safe side.

Why does this remind me of a video posted on YouTube that was very hilarious and made for this very reason.
You can't just flash sh*t to your phone.

Leave the phone all night with no battery....
and after that if you can boot in recovery flash the stock kernel...

[Q] Bricked... Please help

Hey Guys,
A friend gave me his phone to repair. It is bricked, he installed an update (he said) and it didn't worked. Going into Recovery Mode I found out there is a Recovery installed, but the wrong. Too big for the screen, can't see any progress or something.
The main Problem: Since then the screen remains after starting with the Samsung Logo White.
Any help is great! I am usually not working with Samsung, but Sony.
I don't know how to install a different Recovery Mod in. Or how to fix the problem.

Thats the way recovery is on minis mine was the same the wrighting looked zoomed in and big, I flashed CWM and it was ok.
Now I have a bricked mini that wont even power on

So now that I installed CWM, it was easier to move around and see what is happening.
Formating and Restoring failed.
Restore -> MD5 Checksum - MD5 Mismatch!
Formating -> Succesfull. Restart: Screen remains still white after the Samsung Logo.
Any help there?

EDIT: Meanwhile I installed Gingerbread 2.3.4 for GT-S5570. Now it loads till the Booting Screen, but it loops always. So after 10 minutes waiting.
Help needed urgently!

If you wanna flash/install an original samsung firmware (stock-rom), DON'T USE CWM, BUT USE ODIN v4.38 or v4.42 (for mini GT-S5570)

[Q] samsung galaxy s i9000 problem after flash rom

hi, this morning I have tried to flash my galaxy s i9000 to a latest version of slim bean but when I start installing the rom I have seen that was not good and I have recover my old rom and reboot but unfortuntly some thing went wrong and when I come to reboot my phone stopped on the galaxy logo without rebooting or switch off .to be honest I make some thing more wrong I have switched of my phone,take off cd card and tried to put on another rom so can I instal again but now I have two problems because when I come to re mounted is teling me that it cant remount . can you please tell how much is bad the situation and what can I do to turn back to working my phone please?

Secondly, can you get into download mode?

Mate, calm down, you can get into download mode- everything is okay
All you need to do is reflash a stock 2.3.6 rom and see if that solves your problems.

Yes ok but In which manner because when I am try to access cd card is telling me that it cant open it and I have try with another cd card and every time I am reciving the same error it'cant open it;cant access. can you please give me another way can access through download mode by pc or so?

Hello, everyone. Recently I acquired a Samsung Galaxy S5830D, the thing is that I wanted to change it's ROM so I decided to search over internet and in the forum I followed, they said that I had to install CWM (a custom Recovery) so I did it from the sd card. (In the stock recovery --> Apply update from sd card) Everything went fine. But then when I want to access to the recovery It always happens that instead of the recovery interface it appears a blue screen. The thing is that I have tried EVERY SINGLE DAMN THING... and nothing
What can I do? Is there any way to use options with adb or anything?
Please help me :crying::crying::crying::crying::crying:

** Sometimes happens that in the middle of the night (around 10pm) magically when I reboot int recovery mode it shows the real interface but only like twice, but then it always shows the blue screen**

Well it seems there is some problem with the Recovery . Try to install CWM Recovery v5.xx using fastboot. If you dont know how to flash a recovery using fastboot Let me know you can message me i will provide you with the Solution.

Fastboot is NOT necessary to go back to CMW 5.x recovery

i didnt say that its necessary to flsah CWM using fastboot. I just said it because its very easy.

The easiest and fastest method is using CWM to flash the desired recovery

Raakib Zargar thanks, but finally I gained access to the Recovery, I tried and I tried and I get inside. And then I took advantage of that and installed the ROM I wanted and for my surprise the ROM installed in the phone CWM 5.0.2.6 and after that I could do anything.
But recently, I did something wrong I guess and I think I hard brick my phone. It´s not my real real phone but it was my tester phone, just for practicing and learn. But I guess I won't have any fun and any learning.
Do you know any way to unhard brick my phone? :crying:

Hey do you have any idea how to unhard brick my phone? Is the same gts5830. It's just that I think I did something wrong and I bricks my phone :crying:
