HI all. Just noticed what looks like a new Miui build on goo. I'm going to try it in a bit and let you all know how it goes. .

That's the GS3.......lol.

Yup, if you go into the mi box folder there is a build of that for our phones. It's kinda a miui themed cynogen mod.

Not really functional yet keeps crashing on start set up.
Wish we could get a functional MIUI for Samsung galaxy s4....... maybe someday.

Yeah, the one in the development forum is quite functional. The only thing not working is mms... That's it. 99.9% functional.

Actually it force closes on phone calls and there is no working voicemail on the miui located here on xda. Known problems at the moment so not quite ready for a daily driver.

But that's also not happening on everyone's phone. My phone apk never force closed and just dial your phone number and get your voice mail like on any other aosp rom. Never know unless you tried.

Why does my lockscreen say HTC

Is there any reason my lockscreen says HTC instead of Sprint? Just running stock unrooted.

Haha. I reactivated my one a couple weeks ago, and I felt so stupid. I pretty much elected to receive bloatwear.
It downloads everything Sprint related only if you let it.

So have the Google edition phones already been given the 4.3 update? If so that's pretty awesome, was a little curious as to how often they have old get updates from Google seeing as how, at least the s4, has a lot of Samsung drivers and such. I'm sure the HTC does as well.

There has been leaks for the S3 getting 4.3 so it might be closer than we think. Considering the S4 does have the Google Edition phone with 4.3 already.

Voice should just be build.prop edits because the ril binaries are compatible with the carrier versions (I know because we used blobs from the 4.2.2 GPE rom to fix radio on the Sense port)

Yeah they definitely are compatible. There is something else going on in the framework or apps. I've tried everything that I had done in the past to get data working on other 9505 ROMs.
I still have a lot to dig through still though.

Only gsm have Google edition. Thus CDMA (Sprint , Verizon ) have ports.

I'm thinking someone next month or early November. I'm content with what we have for Sense roms atm. We have great developers here. I'd be lying though if I said I wasn't becoming impatient about getting an update. 2 new versions of Android have been released and we still have not received an update. Hope it comes soon.

I have trying out roms been stuck and love sac's so far no problems with it yet and is solid how bout others for gs4
