[Q] XXJVU Camera to ICS?

Hi,
Would it be possible to port the camera from XXJVU "valuepack" to any of the ICS mods?
Or would it not work since its Gingerbread VS ICS?

It wouldn't work if you just port the .apk, it needs some sammy's TW library porting. I haven't tried JVU and doesn't know what's so special in it but you can always use 3rd party camera :]
Btw, panorama in ICS stock camera is a plus

SGS+: Cant we include GB Camera on ICS/JB CM ?

Hi There,
Dont know its really possible or not,still, as we have a Nice Samsung stock Camera available for SGS+(GT-I9001) from Stock GB ROMs, can't we include the same on ICS and JB Custom Roms ?
I know we have a working Camera for ICS CM9 ROM, but the one in GB is Perfect and if its possible to copy the same to ICS it would be good.
If this method is working , the same could be used in JB also, as Camera remains a bug on newly ported CM10.

Both stock camera and fm radio are closed source from Samsung, so it's near impossible to port. Blame Samsung.

[Q] From CM to official room

Ok, i have CM 7.2 and few day ago i finded out that there is official ICS for 2X. Now i want to switch from CM to ICS and i am asking how?

UPDATE: got several but not working in ics/jb and rc3 rom so switch back to original stock rom with rc2, all working as expected while waiting more stable ics rom ...

ICS Camera fix ?

hey guys
i thought that we are using CM10 and 10.1 but no one is using CM9 since official ICS released to our OB so i was thinking that what if we tried to replace camera lib's and Bin's and files releated to the camera from official ICS to CM9 will camera work in CM9 ?
i dont like CM10 and CM10.1 and unofficial CM10.2 because of the battery drain and video FPS so i thought that if we can use the official ICS camera libs and binary's on CM9 will it work
