I haven't been able to find a solution to this issue. When using apps that do not use the HTC movie player to play video files, except YouTube, the status bar does not go away when watching in full screen. For example, on the iPhone and the One XL, the the status bar goes away when TWC TV app streams a TV channel in full screen. But on the One, the status bar is persistent, and actually squishes the video (as shown in screenshot). I'm almost certain the apps are trying to take up the whole area, but Sense is just not getting the call. The same problem exists in the Mefeedia app. Is there any workaround to this?

mx player works just fine. maybe it's the app

I am watching alot of videos and my status bar does not appear. I watch CNN, Slingbox Player, Vevo and many others with no status bar. There are some apps out there that will remove or make the status bar transparent.

Hi everyone,
I know you can get a live wallpaper called 'many' for the Samsung Galaxy S, which shows the music being visualized and the animation framerate and look of the visualization is quite nice. However, when I'm in the stock music player, the visualization in that seems quite 'laggy'. Is there any way I can change the stock player's visualization, or, increase the framerate so that it doesn't look to 'laggy'?
If anyone could help me with this I'd be really grateful Thanks in Advance
No doubt... I'm getting a little tired of watching my EQ bars jumping up and down on my Captivate. I've been searching around for some other kind of stock music player visualization package or something... I can tap it and it shows a mirrored image... I'm running Froyo.UCJI6 (initial leaked version), Kernel 2.6.32.9. Any ideas or suggestions would be great! I really don't want to run an application on top of the music player just to see some kind of visualization so a mod would be great.
My "Media Screen"
Get LauncherPro (for the icons on the right...the dock) <- Not necessary, but cool
Put the Pandora widget on the top row (to control Pandora streaming music from the screen)
Put the Music Player Pro widget on the bottom (to control local SD card music)
Set the wallpaper to the "Live" wallpaper called "Spectrum"
Use a Clingo device to mount on your desk (I have one) or in your car (got one of those too)
Boo-yah!
If you want pics of the car and home mountings (they look cool), let me know.
Would it be possible to make a Pandora widget like the music lockscreen widget? Or make it where the stoke lockscreen widget also controls Pandora?

I'm pretty sure something like Widget Locker from the market should allow you to place the pandora widget on your lock screen. Not exactly what you're looking for, but it's about as close as you'll get I think.
This is not exactly what you want, but if Pandora is running while the Vivid is locked, you can pull down the notification bar (at least with ICS/Sense 3.6) and access the running Pandora app
Also, you might consider replacing one of the default apps in the bottom app bar with the Pandora app shortcut. Those four apps, whatever they are, will show on the lock screen.
Of course, I believe you want to see the full screen app like the music player shows when locked.
Yea I use notification bar and have the quick unlock set with Pandora lol but was hoping to have the fullscreen widget like the music one, I guess I'm just getting too lazy

I've sideloaded a couple apks (like Chrome and some others). Icon for such app looks very bad, it's low-res.
Is there any way to improve situation?
What app developer should include to get hi-res icon in home screen carousel?
I use the YouTube app to watch youtube videos. When I watch them I get this "TV Que icon overlay" thing that dims my entire screen. It's like a transparent black filter over the entire video with a TV Que icon in the middle. I don't know why this is happening. I've tried reinistalling youtube multiple times...
Using:
Android Revolution HD
Android 4.3
HTC Sense Version 5.0
Nova Launcher GUI
I use the magazine unlock as I like some of the options that are in there, but the music player for Google Play music is terrible, anyone else found this?
I'd like to know if anyone uses a theme that shows the music artwork on the lockscreen??
I am not aware of any way.
I use Echo Lockscreen from the play store as that gives me a better control but no artwork.

Nils lockscreen notifications + xperia music player works great with the stock lockscreen. Gives you full control over all notifications.
The main issue I am suffering is not being able to turn off the stock lockscreen, something to do with encryption which is an annoyance.
