Need tester for upcoming rom.....
this rom will be for ace 5830i
requirments:
the member should be on facebook
have knowledge on logcats
have basic knowledge of apktool and rom development
ready to test and give result.....
if you are ready then u can message me on facebook

Why don't you try my ROM Tools v3. They automatically record logcat.

Thats what I am saying. You can automatically take and view logcat with that tool.
And you'll learn about apktools by the Ultimate Guide

He was released the link and I tested for him, so he edit and put that his ROM dosnt work...
He isnt asking form someone to test a no working ROM, he was asking for one who could try his ROM and see if it works....

its based on a ics port but it didnot boot yet so im trying it.

Not sure,how do I do that? already flashed my rom as i gotta go to work so post me a tutorial on how to logcat and will do it

i know that nooby but i was looking for him on xda but not founf him yet :S
MIUI v4 is under development but there has a beta version released and it will be tested by the developers (made on ICS from samsung)
You can download the Rom from here:

it's not about risking it's about rom
Its a rom release so of course it sould be in the dev section......Now other devs can work on it .
The part that says flash at your own risk, was cut and pasted from the person that uploaded the rom.

It was Released by the MiuiAndroid. Noone else in this forum has the rights about this rom so it has nothing to do with dev section. It has no dev in here.
Mods please remove this thread because this man has no right to publish this rom on his own

On topic. Sweet rom, very stable and fast.. 99.9% of the stuff works, including s3 specific stuff like smartstay. Also works with latest Siyah kernel

There is no other Jellybean ROM for Mini, you may create one from scratch.

Learn how to use apktool, xml, adb... do some edits to framework and systemui... you can't do much with these, but that's good starting point :d

Go to system/media and delete bootanimation and useless ringtones, go to system/apps and tap on an app, see it's "real name", then decide if you need ut or not. Just some basics
