I noticed the other day that I keep loosing root access. If I reboot, I seem to have root access for a few seconds and then it is lost. I have tried rooting it again, seems to give me root access for a few minuets but then my phone just reboots and again, root access gone.

I had to Factory reset to remove the primary account on my Tab (SPH-p100). Was rooted with Z4root.
The Superuser Permissions app disappeared and it appears my tab is no longer rooted. Root checker confirms this
I have tried Unroot and Permanent Root with Z4Root but they both hang running exploit to obtain root access. I have tried this multiple times and the programme either quits whilst running or just will not progress past phase 1
I want to reroot but it looks like the root apk will not unroot or root the device.
Any ideas on how to fix this?
try super one click root 1.9
i have notice something on my phone since the official .893 rom my root has disappeared and i can't root anymore with any of the ways that i have what is up i tried forever root and one click one nothing. what is up can some tell me. also i mess up my phone and had to get a new one and .893 is on the phone i want to be totally full access root.
Try to manual root it then install forever root
ya i tried that last night this guy that does it manually all the time made a script to automate it and i tried it and it worked then i just forever root it and its fine now.
I rooted my Moto X using Jcase's Pwnmymoto. Then I used this method to restore root after taking the OTA: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2466191
The problem that I'm having is that, after some time, I lose root. If I restart the phone, I will get root back and everything is back to normal, but then it will happen again after an undetermined period of time. When this happens, Superuser is unable to update the binaries and Adaway stops blocking ads.
I followed the instructions on the "keep root" thread to the letter, so I'm not sure what would be causing this, but it's annoying. Anyone have an idea of what the cause might be?
Thanks.
Hello,
I'm having issues with my new tablet. I followed the instructions outlined here
http://forum.xda-developers.com/amazon-fire/development/wip-achieving-root-thread-t3238152
And achieved root. All was well, but about 24 hours later, my tablet decided to restart, and when it rebooted, I no longer seemed to have root access. I then confirmed this with a root checker app. I still had the Google Play store, and the SuperSU app however. I checked using a file explorer and I still have an su file under /system/xbin.
I tried a reboot using the same method as above, but it seems to be failing because the files already exist. I tried uninstalling the SuperSU app using the full unroot option inside the app, but it simply says 'uninstalling, please wait' for a few seconds and then goes back to the home screen, SuperSU still there. I then attempted to restore to factory defaults, but alas the app remains and I am still unable to reboot (as well as losing all my data sadly). I am getting a drop down notification telling me that 'the SU binary needs to be updated' but that installation fails as well.
I'm unsure how to proceed trying to reroot my device, and feel stuck. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Also, I'm not sure what caused the device to restart and me to lose my root in the first place. From what I've read trying to figure this out, an OTA update may of caused me to lose my root, so I'm also wondering if there's anyway to prevent this from happening again if I can regain root.
Thanks
Disable OTA

I have downloaded kingroot and have used it to remove some system apps. Because it is a temporary root, I have to reroot it every once in a while. One time, after being rooted, it began spamming the screen with error messages that the play store and other apps stopped running. I rebooted the phone and the root and the problem were gone. I tried to root again and I had the same problem. This time when I tried to restart the phone, I had to put it in that mode where you hold the power and volume down buttons and restart the bootloader and then power down and then power up. For now I have deleted the kingroot app, but there are still files that won't go away. How can I get rid of these? Also what suggestions do you have if I decide that I want to pay for sunshine in the future? What app should I use instead to get to where I can use sunshine?

See the post I made on your other thread for instructions on how to remove Kingroot.
The latest version of Sunshine requires no other apps to unlock the Turbo.
