CyanogenMod is an open source replacement firmware for smart phones and tablet computers based on the Android mobile operating system. It offers features and options not found in the official firmware distributed by vendors of these devices.
Features supported by CyanogenMod include native theming support, FLAC audio codec support, a large Access Point Name list, an OpenVPN client, an enhanced reboot menu, support for Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and USB tethering, CPU overclocking and other performance enhancements, soft buttons and other "tablet tweaks", toggles in the notification pull-down (such as Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS), app permissions management, as well as other interface enhancements. According to its developers, CyanogenMod does not contain spyware or bloatware. CyanogenMod is also stated to increase performance and reliability compared with official firmware releases.

The only difference is SIO io scheduler. This is my first build and I haven't managed to do something special yet/

A new version has been released. More features now. Mirror is coming soon.

So is this going to be just another cyanogen for the pile? Or will there actually be anything that sets them apart.

[HOWTO] Read gerrit changelogs

A lot of times new members come in or even older members; and they get directed to the gerrit code site for most cm10/aokp roms. Now a lot of people dont know how to read them and what all that info means. So ill break it down for everyone.

Project: Where in the rom the change is located
Branch: Self explanatory
Updated: When it was merged to the rom
V: Its been verified to be merged
R: It has been reviewd before it was merged
Now the subject has a basic explanation of what was changed. Click on the subject and it brings you to a new screen like this:
As you can see in the top right it tells you exactly what has changed for the user.
Ex: Add lockscreen rotation as an optional rotation setting (2/2)
This will allow the user to select wether or not to use the
rotation settings for the lockscreen. This is dependent
upon the rotation setting being checked.
Thats basically all you need to know, and i hope you have succesfully learned to read your changelogs now

beta 4 with DSB already released by me.. but good work anyway .
It is beta5 just not renamed in the sources, and it is not a port
Sent from my Xperia Neo using XDA Free mobile app
Some screen shots would be great. seems promising.

Why its written beta3 in download section , but you are saying its b5.
Is it like its beta 3 of beta5 resources ?
No move to SD Card Option
there's no move to sd card option other than that great ROM, very smooth and battery friendly
Well downloading this rom at present is a waste. Nothing is there what you need. No performance menu. Its just like lx11 with even less features.
After install rom, im install link2sd with ext4 partition but after reboot the phone freeze and reboot itself.

it's the legacy branch of AOSPA, i won't add anything new to the rom, it is pure and compiled from source, it has more options than lx cm... and if you don't like the rom go elsewhere... there are a lot of other roms on xda

And you took me wrong, I said at present this ROM is lagging some features, why would I download if I don't like? I missed common features. That's what I commented, and that's why I added at present.
I know there are other ROMs, as your ROM is new.
Don't be panic.
Yes, some features cant be found in this rom, because it is aospa-legacy and afi's rom is a port from non-legacy device, but it has some nonworking features like tethering and so on. And in my rom all these features are working
Sent from my Xperia Neo using XDA Free mobile app
great rom, now using it,
but video recording doesn't working, and some time it reboot randomly.
still cant wait for the full release..

Introduction
I tested a lot of mods, and I read a lot of scripting stuffs over time but the finding was always the same : A majority of mods contained only placebo things, and they only made things worse. I decided to make my own mod and Young Engine is what I got, I was septic to share it but sharing is caring after all ! Its particulairity is that every code line and every tested values inside are specific for our Galaxy Young. Galaxy Mini has the same amount of RAM, that's why I decided to share it here too !
Features
Better memory management (calculated and based on Galaxy Young/Mini's RAM)
Better partitions mount options (compatible with both of EXT4 & RFS filesystems)
Better battery life
Better Lowmemorykiller settings (based on Samsung's stock LMK settings)
Android OOM settings synchronized with LMK ones
I/O scheduler general and specific tunables for SIO and SIOPlus schedulers
TCP/IP optimisations (Download/upload speeds, network's latency reducing)
Better SDcard read/write speed
Useless debugging disable (for non-dev users)
Requirements
Rooted device with Busybox installed
Init.d support
Custom recovery
Installation
Delete your installed scripts (expect which your kernel/ROM need)
Download the ZIP file and put in inside your SDcard
Reboot your phone in recovery mode
Flash the ZIP file and reboot again your phone
Download
MEGA - Dropbox

Try it and decide, L Speed also have aggressive doze, but you can use both
Ok, I've been using L Speed for more than a week. I'm on Dark ROM, which is based on CAF version of LineageOS.
I selected battery profiles for everything (including IO and LNET) in Profiles screen. I didn't tweak any individual parameters. I don't notice any change in battery life or performance of my phone, but I actually haven't benchmarked.
Am I doing it wrong?
the blu_plug doesnt work.
controlling other hotplugs and cpu governors could be very nice.
i'm running dirty unicorns (latest weekly) + lastest L-speed beta
