I've read that CyanogenMod 10.1 no longer supports avrcp 1.3+ due to Google removing bluez. If I had a 10 release I'd use that as I really value that feature. Is anyone on the CM team working on bringing it back?

Not many people use FM radio.
AOKP development for N7000 relies on the CM9 development. Unfortunately, FM Radio isn't implemented in the CM9 Nightlies. Its one of those "last things" before we get CM9 Stable, which will be "CM9 rc1".
After that, no-more (official) CM9 development. They will focus on CM10 which is JellyBean.
However, you can actually use FM radio on CM9/AOKP just get these Apps "TuneIn" or "Spirit FM" from the PlaySt- I mean the Google Market.
So back when i did use CM stuff i very much enjoyed being able to use a held down volume rocker to skip songs, but not so much the ROM, it was a lot of effort to keep up with the nightlies and bugs. Seems someone else had the same feelings as me and here we someone delving into the decompiled system apk's to bring it to stock... but for the S3....

Pretty sure the skip track mod is baked into SmoothROM... I know there's an option to enable/disable it in settings, but I haven't tested it yet.
ROM - Odexed Blue LJ7 "Holy Grail"
Kernel - KT747
Baseband - LJ7

This is an incredibly useful feature.
I remember reading that the original Nexus 7 had a Bluetooth Low-Energy compatible Broadcom chip, but that stock Android didn't have support for Bluetooth 4.0/LE. With the released 4.3 which labels 4.0/LE support as a key feature, has anyone running 4.3 managed to get BLE functioning or tested it at all?
Based on my tests, our last-gen Nexus 7s haven't got support for it with 4.3.
I use the API 18 and there is a BLE sample in SDK, I build it and put it into my nexus 7 with android 4.3. The BLEsample app show "BLE not support".

Like the Galaxy Nexus, the 7 was not FCC certified for BT4.0, only BT3.0.
The old 7 will NOT have BT4.0, even on Android 4.3 and up.
Might be possible using custom ROM. Like cynogenmod. I wish they could put support for that feature.

Question why is there no bluetooth fix in HP touchpad nightlys. For 10.1 cm. I know jcsullin has an unofficial ROM for Bluetooth but I like updating to new nightlys every so often. Can anyone explaine?
Cheers

I am curiously too. Why not working BT? Developers, explain please us.
I want to know when will be released updates to fix the bugs on Camera, Audio, Animation Rotation and few others. I've already tested the ROM and I liked so much. I wait for answers, thanks.
