Hi:
My brother today have bought Xperia Z , and i want to update it with Flashtool but the problem is when i connect it holding VOL- , i got a green led for half second then it disapear , in flashtool it say device connected in flashmode but when i try to flash ftf it start in 0% and still like that , not continue.
What is the problem?

Yeah i saw the 0.9.10.2 Beta 6 , i will try and replay.
If you are using beta6, exclude TA and it shoud be fine.

No i ma using the normal release not the beta , now it's downloading and when it will finish i will try and replay.

Just i had installed Flashtool 0.9.10.2 Beta 6 and i installed Xperia Z drivers and it's fine now.

Hi,
So i have a bootloader locked Xperia Z. I installed the CWM for bootloader locked phone and installed ROM AUR which is supported for Locked BL phones. So it got stuck at the installation and I turned the phone off. now its stuck at sony logo. any help please

go see the Original Development section krabappel2548 thread discussion. It seems this recovery has some problem yet. Try installing one more time?
It also happend to me on my Xperia S. While the phone is turned off connect it to pc and flash stock rom with wipe anything selected abd nothing exclude.

Yeah just did that. Its now starting up. i flashed the russian build even though im in uk. is that ok.

The last 2 days I have searched all over google and xda, on how to RELOCK the bootloader. I really want to relock the bootloader again and go back to all the stock, how to do this? XPERIA Z

Can you please explain more, which files shall I use to relock? If you mean the BLU button and then the RELOCK option I cant get it to work have tried, I only get ''no loader found in device''
Yes the blu button,it work for me.

I found the solution, I had the wrong flashtool!
hi , ive trying to flash xperia z back to stock firmware with flashtool i have all the correct drivers and lastest versions install on windows 7 i have done this once before and it worked perfect , but the problem i have now is when i try to do it this time it gets to "flashing data" and stays at 0% and doesnt move so is there anyone who could help me with this problem ?
Be patient, it happened to me and when I waited around ten minutes, it worked.

been waiting roughly 15 minutes now and still the same
Try another firmware or remove flashtool and install again.

In flashtool go to check drivers with you phone connected take a screen shot and post it please, also what ftf are you trying

I hope that your firmware is corrupted, download a different one and try flashing!
my xperia was on stock 4.1.2 rooted and bootloader unlocked , i tried to flash the new 4.2.2 to the phone using flash tool , but my mistake i used C6603 files instead of C6602 files , the firmware flashed ok from the zip file on the Sdcard , after that i flashed the stripped file from flashtool when the phone booted it got stuck on the Sony logo.
i have tried to flash TFTs using flash tool and it keeps aborting , i tried to use Sony pc suite and SUS but keeps failing with an error 2003
please help

Do you have the latest flashtool?try remove and reinstall flashtool.
Try another firmware also.

Wise decision
I bought a xperia Z. its shows an update on the phone but i just cant install it...it fails everytime. and even if i try to do it via pc companion. it says that the phone is running a modified firmware that cannot be updated.. So please if anyone can guide me on this..i just want pure stock from where i can install ota whenever it shows up. thanks.

Yea, use flashtool to flash to any stock rom ftf, rmb to change the country in sony companion to your country so that you get the correct updates off your countries' telco
