Hey guys
Is there any chance to manage the shortcut-icons on the HTC One with TrickDroid-Rom with DeSense-option?
I am using the sense-lockscreen and nova-launcher and so Ive removed the stock launcher during installation. Unfortunatly there are no shortcuts shown on the HTC lockscreen and it seems there is no way to add/edit them.
Is there any third party app to do this or will this come in future release of TrickDroid?
Ive already tried an alternative Lockscreen (WidgetLocker), but the activation lag everytime was a little annoying - I would like to stay with the stock lockscreen.
Any chance?
Thank you,
Frank

Yeah, I had this idea already in my mind.
But due to the fact I am not using the sense launcher at all, which is draining battery and performance, I would not like to waste resources for this.
Hope there is another way to do this. The lockscreen must have stored the shortcut information somewhere, I am for sure
If you change the launcher and clear cache on the HTC launcher after switching to nova, the HTC launcher won't be consuming ram since it will not activate unless you change back to it.

Hi all,
I'm interested in using Beautiful Widgets with any ROM in order to create a HTC-like sense in Launcher2. Only thing is, I can't find a ROM that supports it very well. Is anyone using a certain ROM with Beautiful Widgets successfully?
Thanks in advance!

Ok but that's not a "beautiful widget"....that's an HTC widget ....if I am thinking of the same one

No, its a beautiful widget. I know what you're talking about, its worked with every ROM i've used but I prefer the HTC widgets in all honesty. Why are you using BW anyway out of curiosity.
I want to simulate what HTC widgets might look like in Launcher2

The HTC-like widgets were removed sometime around version ~2.3-2.4 due to a cease and desist order from HTC.
Older versions will still have them.
Anyone know if you can make the middle (2nd) homepage with the apps on etc. a bit smaller than the default big ones on a 4x4 display.. My previous phone;s Galaxy S2 and Nexus all had a 5x4 display for the app icons and i really don't like the massive gaps between all the app icons.
Can't see anything in the options to do this...
Is it possible?
Thanks
no replies????
You will need to use a 3rd party launcher like Apex or Nova for that. Not possible on the stock launcher.
4x5 is option in Stock...
Not enough for Stock?.....

Yes 5 x 4 in the app pages but i am talking about the 2nd homepage where it is 4 x 4... why cant the home page be 5 x 4 also... seems to be the only bad bit of design i have found with the phone...

Cant use anything that involves rooting the phone as I use banking apps and they do not work when a phone is rooted.
OK, I see nova is an app.. I will look into it. Thanks

I use UK Banks. LloydsTSB and Barclays banking apps and Barclays PingIT. I have only had my HTC for 4 days... dont know anything about rooting it yet.. Had a Gnex before and when i rooted that, none of the banking apps would work as they could see it had been rooted and considered it a security problem
Have Nova now and it is good, just a shame i lose the direct screen rotate widget/icon that the HTC One comes with but Nova does not recognise.. found that pretty useful and i find screen rotation very annoying when i dont want it to rotate but it does and it is at a slight angle!!
I guess UK Banks are more secure good thing. I use multiple banking apps to pay bills transfer funds, etc. never had any security issues. As for rooting, its a whole new world for your phone. Most important thing is to read, read. And read the developers instructions before attempting to root. You could brick your phone if your not careful. Glad you found Nova useful. Good luck if you decide to root your ONE. Remember read!!!!

Hi all,
I never thought I'd use sense, but I really like ARHD and blinkfeed and after getting rid of the condensed font it looks almost good.
However blinkfeed is too dark to my taste. Do you guys know a quick way to let the background image being shown in the clock area of blinkfeed?
Thanks
Holger

Simply install ViperOne rom and you will be able to set blinkfeed/clock background from tweaks you can choose a color or an image as background, and you can even set appdrawer background

Great stuff!
I tried the ViperOne Rom and the mentioned tweak. Looks really nice, but took me a bit longer to set it up the way I like.

The most important is that you're satisfied and got what you want and if you never used Viper rom, just continue to explore venom tweaks, there are a lot of goodies

Maybe. I used this. It's a flashable zip that allows you to customize various aspects of the launcher. I don't remember what version it's intended for, so make a backup before you try it.
Another option is to take my Prism apk and try it on your device. Move the apk to /system/, set the permissions to rw-r-r/644, then move and replace to /system/app. Like I stated with the other method, make a backup first. One of these will probably work for you.
Hi,
I'm experiencing a little bug on Nova launcher on my HTC One, since installing it yesterday when I press the back button to close an app it shows the Sense app draw rather than the Nova home screen....I've used Nova before on other devices and have never seen this before.
Is there anyone else that uses Nova launcher and is having the same issue and possible have a fix etc? I have searched for the issue and other people on XDA have had the same issue, but thread has not been updated in last 6 months.
Thanks
I use the Nova Launcher on my ONE and don´t get this error. Maybe because i have frozen the Sense Launcher with Titanium.

I'm currently not rooted, but I hope this is a simple fix as I don't want to root just to use another launcher, not saying rooting is pants or anything I just don't want too.

HTC SENSE 7 LAUNCHER FOR S6/S6 EDGE
Ok guys, so far this is just a base for a project, currently my device doesn't have root, therefore I'm doing what i can without. Therefore here is the sense 7 launcher working that can be installed on your Galaxy S6/Edge. Install both APK'S
Once/IF we get root i can definitely get things working better. However, in the meantime, when placing widgets you can jut tap them, and move them later.

Have you been able to get widgets added? That seems broken for me, but blinkfeed is infinitely superior to briefing so I may still keep it. Also theming and social integration are broken too, though I suspect those depend on other apps and frameworks specific to htc devices.
try this
i install and work fine

Installed the plugins and it seems to have allowed social integration on blinkfeed and some theme support, but i still cant get widgets to apply on the sense home launcher. I go to the adding screen but when i drag the widget i want to the screen, nothing happens.

Still on my M8 but I think you have to put all the apps in the system partition manually, all the apps because they are linked to each others

Umm who's work are you saying it is? Xpirits's? Well I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but your wrong. Actually if you would like, you can install each of them and tell the difference for yourself. Unfortunately Xpirits's is a lot further along than mine is.
Hi. You can do a version for Samsung SM-A500F plssssss
