[Q] How do you change your lockscreen wallpaper?

Hi...
I have seen people with a different wallpaper on their lockscree from what they have on their homepages etc and I'd like to know how to do that?
Do you have to be using a lockscreen app or can it be done in the system itself?
I'm rooted as well if that helps.
Please advise... thanks...

Yes you have to use an app it's call Widget Locker , there's an option in it's settings to use a wallpaper of you choice .

So there no way to do it with the aosp lockscreen?

I tried Widget Lockscreen but in needs to be constantly run in background using cca. 10MB of RAM which is not acceptable for me. Can somebody else confirm it? Any other solution?

You have an option in the settings>display settings>wallpaper.

I don't have an option like that.
In my settings> display there is NO wallpaper option. I am on froyo 2.2...

I am looking for that to. I wanna b able to unlock my screen from down to up and not left to right. Do i have to change the theme completely or is there just a small fix?

Yes... I'm sure... hmmm... I wonder why I don't have this option? I'm in Canada on an i9000m if that matters and again I'm on 2.2 froyo and NOT 2.2.1 if that makes a difference.

Flash a 2.2.1 Rom with unmodified gallery3D and use Samsung lockscreen on it, that's how u can choose lockscreen wallpaper.

Pretty sure that the custom wallpaper feature wasn't available until 2.2.1.

Does any1 no of a 5x5 anologue clock widget.
Not bothered how it looks just needs to be 5x5. Or failibg that. Any1 have a resizeable clock widget?

No timer or stopwatch

Hi I'm looking for the timer and stopwatch on the phone and can't seem to find it in the clock app or anywhere.
Is there a timer and stopwatch in this phone at all?

Pure android didn't get that until 4.2 and as this is close to stock I would say no it doesn't have them. But play has loads.

Weather Widget from Note 2

I have weather widget from note 2 but when i put in note 3 it is showing it is 6x3...anyway to shrink this or anyone know why this is happening...normally i thought it was 1x3 but for some reason its bigger...thanks for anyones help....

using nova launcher now and installed through ROM Toolbox Pro....copy samsungweatherwidgetclock.apk and accuweatherdamonservice.apk to system then app with root browser...set permission RW-R-R...thats it

Mind sharing those apks? I don't own a note 2 and I hate the new Samsung weather widgets.
