Best way is to check Rom Posts by other users as some users may have the same specs as you want.
GB Roms I like best with no headaches with CM and JB and are easier to mod
My own opinion
can you please be clear !!

why dont u choose it urself? go to dev section, some people say supernexus, some say cyanaosp, but if u wanna stock mod, use mackay.
so much rom release, why dont u takes some pleasure choosing rather asking, but remember, do not jump backward (4.x to 2.3) using cwm or there will be nuclear war ahead
as for me, better go to stock (any version 4.1,2.3 or 4.2) as i prefer tweaking n adjusting it myself for any setting that i wanted. but mr kasper_h already altering any stock rom release n stay close to stock so why dont u try visit his thread to read, maybe u ll find what u wanted

First .. there's no official ICS rom for optimus black. We have unofficial CM9 , but without a working camera and with some bugs.
Now if you want to install CM9 on your phone , you must be rooted. If your rom has root , restart into CWM and follow this instructions :
- Go into ClockworkMod
- Do the follow wipes: /data /cache and /dalvik
- Install zip from sd card and choose the cm-9-XXXXXXXX-UNOFFICIAL-p970.zip
- Choose "yes" and flash
- Reboot

I'm on my phone atm, so I can't give links, but they're on this forum.
1. Get rooted.
2. Get ROM Manager from the Play store and flash CWM.
2. Download the ICS ROM and Google Apps ICS, they're on the blog of FOP.
3. Use Titanium Backup to backup your apps.
4. Reboot in CWM with ROM Manager.
5. Click backup/restore and backup your current ROM.
6. Go back and click Wipe data/factory reset.
7. Click wipe data partition.
8.Go to advanced > wipe dalvik cache.
9. Go back and click Install zip from Sdcard, find your ROM and install it.
10. Go to advanced > wipe dalvik cache again.
11. Go to install zip from sdcard and find your gapps and install them.
12. Reboot, first boot takes some time. If your stuck at the bootlogo, click g-key some times, you will go to CWM. Here you can restore your ROM you used before.
13. Go to the play store and get titanium backup and restore your apps.
Press thanks if i helped
EDIT: If you want to try JB, you do the same but you get JB gapps.

He's not a noob guys, he's just a newbie... I don't like the term Noob, just sound harsh to me xP
Anyway to install any unoffical CM9,ICS or ICS based roms you must (of course) be rooted and have clockworkmod recovery.
Always backup before installing any rom!!
Here is a list of some ICS roms:
Unofficial CM9 by nunogil
Unofficial CM9 by FreeOptimusProject
Ultrasound Rom HD Beats Edition by blacktecktonik
MIUIv4 Ultrasound by blacktecktonik
Unoffcial AOKP by koila33
PanaroidAndroid by koila33
Motorola Blur by DiederikC
I may have missed one or two sorry about that lol
Apparently the most functional ones may be Ultrasound Rom HD or both Unofficial CM9, both having camera glitch and no HW acceleration due to no official kernel from LG.
Hey I would recommend you to wait a little because apparently official ICS from LG will roll out on September 25.... I don't know if it's true. But till then, wait for the end of September before flashing any unofficial ICS roms.
EDIT: Since you are unrooted, follow THIS THREAD or more specifically THIS ONE
EDIT: there's a CM10
But it's in an early stage CyanogenMod10 Jelly Bean by chenleicpp
The rom has same bugs as ICS + audio not working and some other bugs

Zeus Rom is the most popular rom right now!!
It's extremely stable, with new tweaks/features like Quickpanel, OverCloking, Voltage changer, and many many more!

Erm this one you could have searched it yourself lol..
The Blog containing links
The Original thread containing discussions, tutorials, etc
Latest version is v7 but maybe it's not as stable as v6.39
First of all seriously READ my noob how to. Then you ll learn, how to root your device, install custom ROMs,... Also links to many ROMs are in there. Then go to the dev section of this forum and have a look at all the ROMs. Choose whatever you want, backup your device, install the ROM, test it, choose if you wanna keep it or not and continue with another ROM, if you dont like it.
Please dont ask for more noob how to's, if you are not willing to read. Not meaning to flame you, but if you dont understand of what you are doing, chances are rather high, that you will screw up your device. And I think that is nothing that you wanna do.
So read my noob how to, follow links if necessary and follow the tutorials given. Any questions left? Search here on the forum. Still questions left? Ask google. Still questions? Come back and ask. But please dont ask for things, that are there already. I made that noob how to for a purpose. It was meant for noobs like you and me (since we all start as noobs somewhen).
So go and read now please. And you wont get it all in one day, so take your time, ok?
Nice one

i suggest u a bed-room ? coz i personally stay in my bedroom all the time. its spacious and has everything in it.
so u want it ? XD
edit = now that better,
well u can use the cm9 or cm10 if u want smoothness and the feel of ics and jb.
if u want everything to work try cyanmobile experience..based on gb. check my sign where to find that.
u can also try mebiteks cm7 ...search in development section.
Jokes aside, if you're on stock (out of the box) rom, you need cwm . Flash it with Odin, don't even think about using rom manager , it will brick your phone. Check android version in "about phone", if its 2.3 you can flash cwm. If it's lower, upgrade your firmware. You can find all info by either googling it or looking around xda.

if ur on stock (anyway please give more info on ur fone next time, da build number n etc), n not rooted, root it (find cf root) n gain god access to ur fone , after that try clearing cache n dalvik cache from cwm, not reset. juz clearing cache so it will be release from bulky cache. try semaphore kernel (cant giv as more info on ur fone needed n make sure its i9000, not b/m/1 ok

try 3 combo button ( home+vol up+power) n go to recovery (off fone first) release da button rite after u see da first sgs logo. if u fone juz booting up, then u miss it.n if u can boot to recovery, go to MOUNT (i already forgot about devil cwm interface) and choose format CACHE. n DO NOT TOUCH ANYTHING ELSE. juz format cache only. n reboot back to system.

if u still got cwm thru 3 combo button (modded, not 3e) download cm9.1.0 stable from cyanogenmod website (choose galaxysmtd) n put it in root of internal sd, go to dev sectiom, choose ur own custom ROM n download n put it to internalsd. n then start flashing, from 2.3.6 - cm9 (twice, first will bootloop, go back to recovery n flash again, n for safety, flash again ) - any custom ROM (also flash thrice, first will error, second will bootloop, go back to recovery n flashed again, n for safety flash again! ) then reboot system.

Am I wrong or didn't you get that he wants multi boot? If he does what you wrote he just get Omni Rom but he wants both stock and Omni.
I never tried multi boot as I don't see any advantages but you should read through the whole thread not just the tut in the beginning.

srry man didnt read carefully at first....but anyway i cant help u abt multi rom i never tried it before
multi boot on a phone -_- its not like u gonna install windows ?
whats the point of multi boot on an android phone ? its an open source os and u can do anything with a little knowledge. u will boot to another rom to use hardware keys on screen ? halo ? tablet dpi ? and then u will reboot to the other rom to just use it with less features ? is that useless or not ? u can do anything to any rom. Also u can install probam thats 3 roms in one. the idea of dual boot is totally useless and u will hardly find someone to help.
Dual boot is most useful test flash many ROMs. Primary ROM (stable) + Secondary (Test all ROMs out there) = :victory:

pfff relax ... even if a rom is not stable , the worst case scenario is a double battery drain and a few homescreen 1sec crashes. nobody will make a public rom that will do some serious damage.
