Hi is there any way to move my apps to the SD Card? My ROM is Stock Jelly Bean 4.1.2 XXBMA1 I downloaded a few apps to move apps to the SD Card but all keep telling me that my phone is not compatible, so any ideas? Do I have to flash a new ROM? or is it possible to make it work with my current ROM? Please help me with this Im running out of ideas by the way, I already rooted the phone.
not possible. you can only move external data from the internal SD to the external using directorybind
Ok thanks for the response I'll try directory bind!
you're welcome. hit "thanks" to thank me

Do you mean external SD card? If so is it aokp rom?
Then you gotta flash a file called services.jar search it in aokp thread.
If youre running something else or if you mean USB storage (internal SD card) then I don't know the solution.

tried that already.. its not working for me.. cause my internal sd is "partially damaged" it's still functioning but can't format or put any data on fat32 partition.. even i flash phone with sd inserted the program still goes in the internal sd...
Can anyone suggest why I get an error when I try to restore a Nandroid backup fron my ext SD card? If I copy the same backup file to the internal card and restore from there, there's no problem.
It's no big deal to always use the internal card but I would like to try to learn what's going on. The obvious answer is there's something wrong with the ext sd card but all other reading/writing operations to/from the card cause no problems.
I'm using the Ultimate JB XXLSC v5.1
Anyone got any experience to share about this problem?
Thanks in advance
Trevor
What's the error?
Thank you for replying.
It just says, "Error restoring backup..." and then goes back to the CWM menu. Not very helpful, I realise. I thought at first it was a corrupted backup file but it happened with older backups. Everything works fine hen the backup file is copied to int sd card.
It may be just a small bug in this ROM or some other glitch that could disappear with the next ROM upgrade. I'll keep monitoring. Meanwhile, I'll try re-formatting the ext sd card and see if that helps.

Yes was gonna say to reformat the sd and try again also check if the sd is mounted to the correct mount point.

Root your device, if your on 4.4.4 get sd fix off Google to allow sd writing, and I use gl2sd to move my games and apps to sd card.
